  1. Got another project on the bench, I should have taken some before pics but I just went to it...lol  It's a 1978 Husqvarna 162se.  I've had it for a few years now and finally decided I needed a bigger saw here, going to put either a 20" or 24" bar on it.

I have the cheapo China junk grinder from princess auto/ harbor freight, it works awesome, after filing down the rakers I use the grinder, no more filing for me.

It's for when there's several owners of the land. Each one will provide their own lock & key. I asked one of them why they don't just make a bunch of key copies and use 1 lock; I think it confused him.

I saw the same thing before in Alberta, different companies and the land owners had their own locks. Sad part was that most of the companies used common locks, I could unlock alot of them with my old key ring.

any chance of you getting some of the extra wood, in that deal ? IF YOU NEED IT ? that would be the perfect deal, if it's not too far to haul it over ground.

I can go back and clean up, pick up all that I want, I already grabbed most of the yellow birch that was there already.

I have used a come-along hooked to the garage rafters to put it up on blocks too. Do one end at a time.

My shop has lifting points in the ceiling to hoist my quads up, I can lift the front with its own winch and lift the back with a come-along or a snatch block and the winch from the other quad.

  6. Went and brought in 4 trailer loads today to pile in the basement when it rains over the next few days, barely put a dent in the pile.Measured and counted the pallets today,  they are a 4'x4' pallet and it's 9 pallets long at 6ft high, 2 rows each pallet. I'll be warm this winter even if the power goes out...
