We got well over a foot of snow from Thursday night into this morning.

Getting the snow today! Sup'd to get about 15inches this aft. Cold winds. Going snowmobiling 🤪

This is harder to diagnose not being right in front of us. Is the flywheel clean where the PG is? Any possibility there is a gap there?

Any chance the exciter coil (pulse generator) is weak & once the speed of the current is higher its fading out? Could be fine just testing it alone. I'd wait till you get the new one to see.

I am sure lots have done more than i, but the main things i would say are, make sure everything is very clean before you start, well greased when putting it back together (Maybe warm the boot up with a hair dryer if its hard to pull over) & make sure the clamps are on good, not going to rub on anything.

THH we had something similar back in the early 80s for sale at the local mall here. They were called Manco back then. Gigantic they were! The "Big Yellow" as we used to call those 200"E" models, were a good machine, ive ridden & had a few buds that had them back then & even recent years. I'd have one.
