Lol ^^^... ive seen them like that before 😛 Finally got the rear brake pads in for the Rincon from the dealer 🙄 ... & then changed them...what a stupid contraption of an idea that was that Honda had set up 😣 Got some oil & a filter which is due, but save it for another day.

TBH its a diff so not likely going to be too many small pieces in there, & if there is, youd see them anyway when you drain it next. I usually check mine once a year & if it needs changing i do it. Rotating the axle off the ground with that cap off you can see the oil on the gear, & if it actually is dirty, i always sprayed a little brake cleaner in there to flush it out with the drain plug out, then put oil in to flush the brake cleaner out before closing it up.

I wonder if you could glue it to the outside of it. Maybe test it on the inside of the cap 1st before doing so to see if little things stick to it.

Yea the parts guy said they could get ones around $26....he didnt recommend them lol

Pulled the rear brake pads out of the Rincon... worn down to almost nothing. Honda shop said $100 Canadian, but after-market ones from there like, $46,

Yea they are like the DR650, grandfathered in so they dont have to meet todays emissions. We cant even get them in Canada now, ironically i was looking to buy a 2014 this weekend, but buddy wants close to MSRP back in 14 😮 Not much stock on anything this year!

Yea we had a wicked hot June in New Brunswick. Now back to mid/high 50s F. Parts of BC had the hottest ever recorded in Canada in the higher 110's F range!

July... after the crazy hot June, & had a fire in the old cast iron stove at the camp last night, & today i lit one in the basement as well. 😮

Naw she's right up to the top. Works good, could be the motor as it was dropped years ago before i got it & landed on the bottom of it 😮

Got this old noisy wood splitter from my g/f's mom. Works, but loud, likely the pump is on its way out 😮

Did a little work on a couple of machines, put a plug in the rear tire of the Rincon 😒 And did an ECU flash on a buddies ZX10R.

Oh the service manager told me, Toyota got sued for billions. & they sued the frame manufacturer for only millions...so it was a court ordered recall... i wasnt going to argue 😆

Finished getting the scrap oak today, just down the road here, & yesterday got my 2nd load of wood for next winter.

Put the bearing and seals in the rear hub of the Rincon the other day & put the hub back on yesterday. The front wheels arent the bearings, just a little play in the ball joints it seems. 😮

Wow digging through the vaults! Again... So i couldnt source a piston for that old KE250, with out buying 6 -_- ... so i put it back together & put it up for sale. Been frigging with the old Tundra to get it up to snuff again. Everything from welding an exhaust, new grill, new rear shocks, flushed the trans, sprayed it underneath, adjust the rear brakes & replace the front pads & changed the steering column cover...did i miss anything? Oh, new frame, steering rack & rad as per Toyota. Though i had to pay for the latter 2. Plus fixing up a bicycle for the g/f & changing the rear wheel bearing on the Rincon. 😮

I hate that when pets get attacked. Had that happen with packs of coyotes before. I saw 2 moose in the ditch on the side of the hyway last week, procrastinated..... didnt go back for a pic. Yesterday i turned around for this one, tho it was dusk, so not clear pics. 😑

Washed it yesterday & pulled the w/s off for the summer. Have it jacked up in the garage to change 3 of 4 wheel bearings this week. Its wheel bearings....not brake pads, so i am not changing the 4th as its still tight 😅
