nah it wouldn't be the gas cap vent from when you described in the 1st post... sounds to me like it's not a fuel supply issue, but a carb issue or the valve adjustment. fish mentioned timing jump. but this happened right after you adjusted the valves ??? then you started hunting other issues ? i would have checked the adjustment first before heading in other directions . did this bike sit up for an extended time with ethanol fuel ? and no gas treatment ?

that is so true!! lynyrd skynyrd was also that brand of band, some had and some didn't. ac/dc will always be one of my favorites.

you might check the throttle adjustment at the handlebars , when turning from full left, to full right ... the rpm should not change, in one of your picks looks like the boot on the thumb throttle housing was pulled back, so not sure if you adjusted it, or not.

yeah..... i think he had some health issues ? now i could be wrong, i do know he lost his brother. Malcolm Young. caused by complications from dementia .... very sad to see that band break up, i grew up listening to there music (when i could) pop didnt like my ways at all.... and hated to woken up when cranked the radio! lol.

^^^^^ credit goes to shade, as clean as that bike is, unless a mud dobbers has pluged it, (as fish mentioned) you should be fine, heck the frame drain holes look spotless! if anything, you could shorten the line... but i myself wouldn't worry too much about it!, even the pumpkin vent line is still on, most times those are long gone, on a used bike, and air box cup is still on, so this bike has been well taken care of, and not abused.

this was a favorite of mine, angus will sure be missed!
