  1. I'm with fish on the 424, i run one on one my 300's makes all the defrence in the world on steering, less drivetrain wind up, when i used to have to drive on pavement to some areas close to my home, i think you'll be very pleased with a 424 unit swop.
  2. okay question .... besides the pistons connecting rods, what other 3 parts is this made of ?
  3. not to change the subject.... lol ... people with land should invest in horses! :-) , so I'm covered on that idea, fish heck I'll have a few if it gets that bad, best atv ever made IMO! need fuel, or water (or the occasional treat find a fruit tree, and keep sugar cubes in supply ?) just pull off to the side and let them graze for a while, no oil changes, or parts to break down etc... plus if you play you cards right, you can start a production line. and no turn signals required ....
  4. I'm not even going to ask ^^^
  5. what y'all considered a fair settlement..... wouldn't be the same as the man who lost the personal property, and knows how much he/she has invested, and could loose out because some desk jockey has a bad day ?? ywell that's just pathetic IMO, and said person should be fired!... just shocks me that good honest people over pay these companies for protection, and still don't get treated right, especially after being a loyal costumer for years! same goes for anyone not doing the job there payed to do, correctly. sounds to me like insurance companies rank right down there with lawyers. scum!
  6. you can blame that on the lazy parents this day in time, lord knows they would rather just, draw a check, and stuff themselves with fast food, and waist money of lottery tickets, and gambling.
  7. personally I've never owned one, and never see them around here, not even at ljs shop, but very intrested in the first hand build, heck look what fish has done with mods on atvs. mowers, log splitters etc, but NO, according to the law, those engine powered bikes are not legal here, with out a brake light and turn signals.
  8. some in chat were asking about a good battery tender, so, I'm bumping this up, credit goes to wheeler.

    Weather

i would to, this season has been snow fre here, it's just not the same without one good, or two heavy snows.
  10. es, notice the grey up, and down shift buttons ?? like i said the left one is a manual shift, lol! which would explain the original post....
  11. i agree, done deal, might not be everything you expected, but to deal with scum, well, just feel lucky it was $6200, and not $4200 as sad and aggravating as this deal was, i can understand the lose, of the price for the mods, you might fight this, but i would take the money, sure it won't be the same as having the stolen bike back, think about this, you have no idea what kind of shape it's in or weather or not it's been damaged, which would cause more headaches.
  12. you could be right, it was a google pic of diy wood burners, but that would explain the lack of an ash / loading door.

    Music

i was having issues viewing / loading pics, and videos, plus posting music vids, sence what happen in Nashville (just saying) things seem better now.
  14. naw my eyes aren't that good ether, at least i think there not... heres a close up pic left hand light switch, high low, and kill switch, right hand 4wd 2wd button, couple of nice looking bikes for the year models.
  15. it's got double stacks under the 671 blower, so could be route to blow heated air out of the exhaust ? if so thats a really slick design, the part that baffles me, is where is ash pan, and loading door ...
  16. it's got the right logo on the front fender .. "jeep" that's wild, i think toodeep has a honda with tracks ?
  17. interesting wood burner build, just wonder what the shop looks like.
  18. welcome to ATVH. the left one is a manual shift, part time fwd.
  19. that's pretty slick, i see it has a honda power plant.
  20. sounds like you need a setup controled like mine ... when the temp drops so far (over night) the blower fan heats for a certain time limit then shuts off, and cycles every 30 minutes to around 100 degrees (with with a bed of hot coals, n insulated furness there is no chance of freezing) then shuts off and the the heat pump kicks on
  21. well since you've quoted me---- if (you haven't already) i would contact him, and let him know if indeed he's using the same profile,(change it, and get the word out) that way more of his ?? friends won't be suckered, you might also notify what service he has his account profile with ?
  22. my thinking would its too close to heat source, check out page 26 of this thread, slammed, and jeep both had some good ideas, if you keep the furness close to a certain temp the blower wouldn't cycle off and on so much.
  23. where on the duct work is the thermo located ?
