  1. hm, notice the sign ? collision center ? might need to change that to salvage yard.....
  2. this is it ? I've read good results on this mix, but never located it in columbia, I'll get in touch with my small engine guy. i believe jeep mentioned he mixed his 2 cycle gas a tad on the rich side ?
  3. i have always used stihl synthetic 50:1 mix, plus stihl bar oil, but the major defrence was tossing that champion plug. knock on wood, not a single issue fuel, or engine wise from new.... now when it comes to pinched bars ... yeah, I've had to replace a few (4 sence she was purchased new two by me, that's why i don't loan my stuff out!!) lol, the latest was not pinched but was bent because i didn't count on a sudden gust of wind, so that's on me, I'm just glad i was able to straighten the bar, and the wind gust was to my back.
  4. oh i know that fact, i was always wanting to take them outside, or raise the shop door, lol, and you think people here squeak when they walk, ha, they have nothing on LJ .... he was always complaining about money going out... lol!, but i have say he's one great wrencher, young could probably relate this to how catfish is about parting out a honda.. lol!
  5. in the small shop that lJ had, in the winter time, that was favored over running a engine in an in closed shop, his call, the man that pays the money makes the call... lol. i found it odd myself... lol.
  6. pull the plug and check for fluffy carbon build up, being this engine has not run long, there might not be much, you also might take your finger and rub the inside of the exhaust port, see how much carbon comes out on your finger, if it's black fluffy deposits she's running rich! but missing at idling in the video, I'd say running rich, in the other video she wasn't, so next question have you changed any adjustments on the air fuel mixture screw ?
  7. that to was a factor in why i don't use it, but i sure would like give it just one shot, and see the defrence, sparkplug is always has a tan tip with no carbon build up, you can't beat a NGK plug.
  8. in the last video ... sounds to me like she's running Rich. at idol. and when you give it throttle your giving just the amount of air to allow the fuel air ratio equal out ie the engine revs. if it's a vacum leek, it should idol high most of the time.
  9. nice job on the muffler! that brake arm cam i believe I'd try and file down / dress up.
  10. did you pull the carb back off after the video of it running ? you also might try working the handle bars back and forth while it's idoling which would tell me it's a binding throttle cable.
  11. double or not it's still a Polaris ...
  12. my step father left a grill drain container outside, and took a trip up north with his tv to get some body work done, and when they got back, the container was tippit over with greasy tracks all over his deck, and they had also raided his shed and located the chicken feed, (not stored in metal 50 gal drum with a cap, and clamp ring) each time i talk to him, i bring the great raccoon raid of 2020, it still gets him going ...... lol
  13. I've never seen so many raccoons, no wander he was ! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0eJzOgG9kCU
  14. i never have, wheeler, but my small engine guy Brian / bryan (how ever he spells it) brags on stihl pre mix, but it's a pre pay special order at my local ace hardware , and very pricey, but, I've been tempted to give it a go, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
  15. hm, i might invest in stocks each holiday......this could be a money making idea, eh ?
  16. i just have to say i had a great time in chat tonight! (like always) more, and more new members, along with the old blood like me, get to talk about old times, along with many topics, very friendly! many thanks to @bcsman and to all the members who joine in and have a great time. thank you all! lets keep it going! i even got a a few new ideas, up and coming new invention, a snow snorkel .... I'm not too sure how this gizmo works yet ---- but----- sounds like a money maker! and a new saying.... TRBrider ... ever heard of a snow snake sucker ?? now----my thinking would be this is kind of like a sucker fish, or a critter that lives in the Frigid regions/temps that attaches itself to the snow snake ?? or am i missing something here ? lol, and, to all you new members, i would advise checking the chat room out.

  19. i think @Macarena Man coined the name mustard, of ketchup colored, ..... honda atvs ?? no clue where relish came from, but does make one think of a loaded hotdog, i guess the grey would be onions, or the bun ?
  20. congrats goober! she's a nice old school tank! with a nice load of hondaline parts! an early Christmas, eh ?
  21. okay, Splain this one ? it's not a grey, doesn't look faded.... the tank does look to be a tad darker, no holes for fender flairs not front bumper, no front rack, , aftermarket plastic ?
