  1. hey, people do much worse things nowa days then just using wd-40, take meth for instances..... wow talk about stupid! then you have tooth paste, some type of mouth wash, laundry detergents, meds, soap, shampoo, and my favorites oven cleaner, and air craft paint stripper, a/c condenser acid, concrete acid....
  2. yeah, i kind knew this would draw some some.... lol heck fish, I've been soaked in hydraulic oil (has to be the worst oil beside gear oil) diesel, gas, had brake fluid squirted in my eyes, (yes) from bleeding 300 front brakes sigh..... lol, had a cab johndeere that blew a a/c evap line filled the cab with freon, but, the worst i reckon, had to be torching up a allis Chalmers combine, man, that galvanized metal, is something else! and, safety glasses, gloves, and breathing mask aren't always bullet proof, or convenient! hey, i bet you had some dealings with same, little known fact, president Lincoln actually took something back in the day that had a mercury content, and my uncle Wayne, always claimed he couldn't eat anything that was cooked, or heated in a microwave oven, always said it made his teeth hurt.
  3. i don't think there's a shortage yet, but there sure will be a dent in supply's over next few days, i went to get some dip this morning, and a 1/2 gallon of v-8 , and the cooler was picked almost clean! dang hoarders..... i bet moonshine prices have hit an all time high around here.
  4. might be on my end but all i get is 404 not found.
  5. now .... this might sound strange to a few, well, lets just say it like it is .... just plain crazy--- but we had a discussion in the chat room not too long ago about using penetrating oil for sore joints , and YES, I'm talking fingers, knuckles, elbows, etc ... but not below the waist!!!! i know for a fact wd-40 works, i just wander how many out there have tried this, i know for a fact a few here (besides me) have. and no, this does not include ky jelly.....
  6. thx! the reason i asked was because you had mentioned ^^^ it wasn't sealed properly via the previous owner. looks like she's in good hands now!
  7. the thing that gets me is it happen when he crossed the creek, so just thinking muck getting in where it shouldn't may have aggravated that bearing. i take the creek was deep enough, to let the crud in ?
  8. sigh, I'm lazy, or I'm I'm going to be over the next few days, i just started both of mine, and moved the battery tender to the other 300.
  9. it's not as bad as i thought it would be, now just that pesky delay on parts ? i meant to ask, how does the air mount with screws, or ? I'm not too familure with that model.

    Fish

    now that's battle!
  11. before you go that route, how does the diff oil look ? and I'm not saying something you don't know, lol but raise the front end, and check a few things out ... or i gather your thinking wheel bearing also ?
  12. I'd go with a bearing catching, with it being not as bad in 4wd mode, the drive line pressure maybe making the bearing catch not as noticeable ?till the driveline pressure slacks up, plus being it does this in 2wd, and 4wd, would also make me think it's a wheel bearing catching.
  13. wow, that's a show room bike! and you have that trusty 300 (thumbs up)
  14. happy holidays guys.... be safe in your travels, have fun.
  15. glad to help, i figured it was worth another shot.
  16. i hope you get some good news, it's very strange why they use a plastic caged bearing.
  17. not in this life time!! bulls riders are crazy, but this guy takes the cake!
  18. is this bearing in a plastic cage is the issue with all these hondamatics ? i saw another great video some place about a guy who seemed to know these very well, and had the same idea as you have. I'll see if i can find it maybe of some help. and he did mention the oil pump.
  19. I'm like you i can't believe nether car stopped, nor anyone stopped, that fact alone burns me up! it's getting to be the same here, a few years back when many farms had cattle sometimes youd come across a stray or a few that had gotten out ,because fences downed by storms or neighboring bulls fighting a gate, or gap left open / down, the older members here would always call the owner or who ever lived close to help round them up, it's not like that any longer, now people just wiz right on by. morals, and being neighborly is a thing (or becoming) of the past for some, thank goodness there are some still around who still care enough to lend a hand.

    Snakes

yeah, i thought for sure there would be, but, i didn't wish to offend the animal rights activist, aka asa_p, never can tell when lori loughlin aka thief will show up lol!
  21. that is so true! glad you brought that fact up, cause there's no such thing as privacy nowa days, around here it's Facebook the local law watches closely, I'm not sure about TWRA ... but, twinkys boy got busted a few years back for hunting out of season, a neighbor (who shall remain nameless) saw him, and his kill snapped a pic, posted it on Facebook, and TWRA payed them a visit, those two were the ones i ban from hunting on my place.
