I spent big money on a fancy Battery Tender for four batteries. Wouldn't start due to low voltage and the winch wouldn't retract. Found the positive cable corroded and broken, battery was at 9 volts, and the winch switch also had corrosion in it. Replaced the battery cable, battery, and replaced the switch and winch relay box.
