  1. In the winter time here, rain is called snow and water is ice. Lol, I have washed with snow, very fast process.

Quite common here, see lightening, short time later hear the thunder, 3 days later see the smoke. If it was a lightening strike as the cause there should be plenty of evidence.

They can go underground, travel, and come up some distance, and get going again, some have survived the winter. Never under estimate mother nature's ability.
  4. Would think that there should be $500 worth of parts there, on ebay at least $5,000 worth lol.

A volunteer firefighter thew a cigarette down, tried to stomp it out, part of town, lumber mill, all gone. Moves so fast rapid attack vehicles can not get far enough ahead to get set up to stop it, along a highway. Smokers😡, use an ashtray!

    Weather

Being a warm day in the frozen north, that could be in Fahrenheit.
  7. In the strength, ease of use category where do you rate a mig with an Al spool gun?
  8. I am of the old school, Seal All and a bit of my jeans, have had great luck with this method.
  9. I try not to use debit or use a bank account, perfer using a credit card. If I get scammed it would be on the credit card, not on all my bank accounts, life savings (not much there, lol) etc., all gone, broke and up that creek, would rather let Mastercard deal with it.
  10. It was the rider, not the bike, think he walked away?
  11. So how many plugs would you suggest and looks like it is above the side wall. Would you plug or start walking. Must be some story how that happened?
  12. Yes, just the stock tires, 1500 km (mystery to Americans.) As I am getting older and hopefully wiser, I am following my rules for boats and water, never go futher from shore than you can swim back. Thus with quads never go further from home than you can walk back. I live in an area where cell reception is none existant, and finding people to quad with within 20 years of my age is about as possible as finding cell service, and with the younger ones, I best stay on the porch.
  13. Thanks, got the slime kit, first time I have used a plug with the glue, worked well.
  14. Thanks, will pick up when in town
  15. Have not had a flat for over 15 years, but that changed yesterday on my new to me 2019 Rubicon (first ride.) Lol. I would expect the remaining plugs from that flat, if could be found, might not be in the best condition for use today. What kind/brand of plugs are people using, as plugs are on the list for the next trip to town.

The concern here is forest fires, most things seemed to be burnt now, due to fires the last couple of years. Been great this year poor weather and rain, and rain for most of the spring and summer, don't think it will last though. I guess it is better/easier to deal with the devil you know, than the one you don't. Raining now.

If you have that for rabbits, I would hate to meet your cougars. Love the 3" triple 0

When I was in the Arctic, it was explained to me, "if you are cold, you didn't dress properly" plain, simple, made sense- but I have no idea of how to dress for the heat and sun?
  19. No helmet to make the stupid thread.
  20. Nice to see a move back to the old covered bridges
  21. Though shipping containers provide great weather and 4 legged rodent protection, the original padlock locking mechanism is crap, 2 legged rodents can break in with a cold chisel or cordless angle grinder in seconds. Add on a welded protected locking mechanism, keep honest people honest, the others make them work harder being a thief than having a honest job.
  22. These have been around for quite awhile, though never used personally.
  23. What did you use to attach your stringers to the beam? Thanks. I just had stairs collapse under me last week, had a contractor build them for me while working in the arctic- my mistake. All he used was 2 small nails to attach the riser plate to the landing floor joist, I missed checking that.
