Good point of view. I guess I need to consider expediting this purchase. I'll have to settle on tire size and hope the plastics fit lol.

Hey was that you that posted about putting 25 inch tires on your old trx200sx?
-
Neither did I. The post I found says the spindle is the same. I guess they did change some mechanical things but not all of them. Which works well for upgrades. I am sure I could verify the part numbers, but they do look the same. It beats trying to find an adaptor the will seat over the brake drum access ports on the 86-88 model drums.

I purchased the front brake drums from a 1995 honda trx 200D. This will allow for a bolt pattern change from 4/80 to 4/110 up front and opened up wheel options. I got the idea from a old post I found searching the web forums. They should arrive some time before Christmas. I also ordered a step-down buck dc-to-dc that will power the tach meter.

Nice site and great prices! I see some nice tires there as well. I'm set to purchase in the spring as well. I hoped pricing would drop some over winter.
-
Yeah I figured it was a scam. Kinda obvious with all the prices the way they are. That's crazy.

Hi all, I figured I would ask because I have not searched the web for tires before. This site came up in my search results. I found the pricing of tires to be half the cost of retail elswhere. Now here is a catch. If they were setup as a drop ship seller then it's all good and they are legit. If not well... I will move on to the next. I plan to run sun f tires for now. Thanks.

While searching the local offerup classifieds I scored some used itp wheels for the rear. They are 12x7 which should fit a 10 wide tire. The plan is to find some 22x10x12 tires for the rear and 22x7x10 or 23x7x10 for the front. I may go 24x10x12 in the rear in hopes of gaining some crusing speed. The front wheels are currently manufactured by a company named ams. Oddly itp sold the very same wheel style long ago and may still. I purchased the first on ebay as I really wanted to see what they looked like and if the fitment check ok. The only issue noted is having to enlarge the lug holes a pinch, sorta like knocking off the paint. Which allows the lugs to pass through the lug holes. Obviously they are ment for a different quad with smaller lugs. This front wheel is out of stock everywhere. As of this morning there where 5 left at Denis kirk. I made that 4... Currently there is only 1 left. There are polished and chrome versions available at a greater cost. With this project I want to keep it cheap and this was cheap as it gets. Even when buying new tires included.

That's someone's mom! Bra sil... whoops whoot!

Agreed I still sell stuff every now and then. I find myself sorting through the watsapp and scam crap.
-
Seems people sell stuff to whoever they want vs who shows interest first like they used to. I had a line on some itp wheels and tires. Drove 40 mins and got gas around the corner from the location. Just as I finished pumping gas the guy says "sold"... smh. Way of the world these days.

Oddly enough threads like this generate views and yeah I there might not be a physical bike in the pic. Baught she's a Harley! if I say so myself🤣

I will send you a pm in a few

Well I was wrong. It is a rust converter made by Eastwood. Getting old sucks lol. The liquid is red though. Atleast I got that right. Haaa
-
Cool deal man. What are you looking to get for it?
-
People are dissfferent these days...🤣 no offense to any one here. I had to get that out.

I may still have the bottle at the house. I'll check later. I do believe it was red. I goobered it on pretty good. Idk. I'm no bodywork pro. I tried repainting the hood of that car and that gave me a new appreciation for bodywork shops...

Here is the link to the manufacture site.

That would be cool, but I am speaking of the gas engine found in gm trucks, suv, and sports cars. This one.

I also had a 84 LWB c10. Loved it, but always wished I had space to lean back some. Ended up selling it and had a ridiculous bidding war haaa! Spent more money on it then any other vehicle. My next oldie will get a 6.2 Lt engine. No more carbs for me.
