I used to have one of those little Toro blowers. That thing got abused big time and don't recall ever having one problem with it. The deeper the snow the harder I rammed it.

2 feet. No thank you. This is the view off the front porch. Might have 5" at the most. After I get the porches cleaned, the driveway plowed and the feeders tended we most likely will go ride in the woods.

I think it's perfectly fine to share unless you are infringing on someone's patent or you intend to apply for your own patent. I think it's grand to see what solutions to a problem others have found. For me it's continuing education. Someday I'll post pics my bead breaker. It's Honda special tool # OU812.😉

You've got me beat by 20*F for a high today. White stuff forecast 2-5" today so Walmart will be a nuthouse. The Pretty One is dealing with a kidney stone so I'm in charge now. Headed to CVS at Oh-8-hundred to pick up RX then get the snow fighting equipment lined up and ready to pretend there's actually a reason to plow. Later today will be spent playing fetch with the Shepard and Lab using snowballs.😁

We had this on 45 as kids. The flip side was the song played backwards. Kinda drove our parents nuts playing the flipside
  8. If I were to buy a new one it would definitely be the manual shift auto clutch design. Don't both the Ranchers and Foreman offer this type of transmission? Another question while I have the experts on the line, Is the power steering worth the money and complexity? Coming from a TRX300FW how much more effort is required to turn the Rancher and Foreman while stopped without PS?
  9. Ignorant but curious minds want to know why to stay away from the Ranchers and go with the Foreman. Signed, What I know about the current Honda models can be written inside a matchbook cover with a crayon.😉

First time I heard Ledward I wanted to see him perform in person. We found out he was playing with Mike Kaawa at a supper club in Detroit and quickly got tickets. I had this fear that we would be at the farthest table away and not see squat so I kept going to the supper club's website putting tickets in my cart to get an idea how many tickets were sold to know how early to get there. Something strange happened since there were a total of 16 people in a supper club made to hold about 150 people. The bar keep told me he didn't know what happened since this show should have been sold out early. Anyway, we sat right up front as the one photo shows. My wife sitting with Led and Mike and me with Led. We had a wonderful time and had breakfast with them the following morning.

    Snakes

Little snakes need lovin too. Look what I found behind these 5/4 boards this fall. These two stayed here for a few weeks before going to their winter den. I welcome any snake on the property. Never seen a venomous one so I can say that.
  17. I'm fully aware of the rodent problem in equipment stored outdoors. That's why I try to sneak up and give the starter a good cranking before I climb on. Then I get out the leaf blower and hemostats. Yeah, I got a real thing for mice. Hate 'em big time.😳
  18. Here's my collection. The 69 105 has been in the family since 1970. Dad bought it used from a guy in the steel mill whose wife rolled it and said it was evil. I remove the original seat come summer and install a 42" wide semi padded plank that allows me to the a section of bank in the bottoms. Winter gets the regular seat and sometimes a snow thrower. The Honda is my wife's rider. We have a tiny yard. Unfortunately, the two Wheelhorses are staying outside while our Son's Type R over winters in where they should be. The 312 Hydro was intercepted on the way to the scrap yard and gets used to cut the previous owners grass when she's under the weather. I also have a snow thrower for it. I have a couple of widows living nearby that my wife calls my gray headed girlfriends. We take care of their snow and grass for freshly baked cookies. The old plow jockey is an on going experiment in see just what it takes to kill a Wheelhorse.
  19. Will do but keep in mind historical value was way down on my list of priorities and keeping it running with minimal $ was on the top. I do grease it and change the oil often. About 5 years ago I decided a set of rings were in order when oil consumption rivaled fuel usage. I gave $200 for it and my wife was all excited to get it home and wash it. Nope. Ain't wasting the water, I told her😉
  20. Here's a hacked Craftsman snow plow on the Honda. Behind it is the old Wheelhorse that's been the front line driveway dozer for 13 years now. 450' of 20-25% grade limestone base driveway eats wear strips. Welded a 3/8" in strip on the last time. Gives the left arm a workout lifting it. I have no idea what model(s) the Wheelhorse is. 12hp Kohler 3sp x 2 trans with a front and back half from two different tractors welded together. I beat that thing on a regular basis but maintain it well.
  21. GTV 6. Yup. Local guy's got one. I know the back of it well. Seems when I took the Lancia out he seemed to appear briefly in my mirrors and then blow them and the doors off as he went flying by me.🙄 Man that guy could drive. Now that I have the 124 I'm gunning for him.😉
  22. My wife's first car was a 124. She started dropping hints when they were first announced and I thought there's no way I want the problems associated with a Fiat. We had just sold our pristine 1981 Lancia Zagato a few years back to fund college expenses and although I missed driving the car I figured for every hour we drove it we worked on it two. When she told me the new 124 was made along side the Miata I got interested. She wanted red, I wanted Abarth, recaros and brembos. It's been 100% reliable in the 28,000 miles and 3.5 years we've owned it. And fun.
