I keep my Zillas off the tar. They do see quite a bit of gravel. 5500 miles on them and still look almost like new.

I've had Zillas for 6 years now and love them. I put 27's on my Rubicon.

Let us know how the snake tastes after you cook it up. ☺️

We are on the road and about 300 miles from home yet. We can't thank Freedom Flyer, his wife and family enough for the GREAT time. As predicted, when our wives met, within 10 minutes I was sitting in a chair in the living room and was forgotten. 😊 I will add to this thread when I get home and straighten out. I will leave you with one parting thought: After 2 trips with a total of about 66 miles in challenging terrain it is indisputably the best 2-up machine out there. I have had a Honda since 1985 and my next one may very well be Can-Am. No matter whether you have Honda, Yamaha or Can-Am, independent suspension and power steering cannot be beat. A straight axle would barely make it through where we have been or been anywhere near as comfortable.

I haven't looked lately but I remember the manual stated to leave in neutral and set parking brake to avoid transmission damage. Also, winch manufacturers tell you not to use the winch for tying down as it will wreck the winch.

I bought a pump sprayer and with a $4 brass fitting turned it into a shower for use at the hunting shack.

A friend and I took an impromptu tent camping trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior for 4 days. Put 75 miles on the ATV and toured down by the lake by truck and hiking. Weather was awesome with highs in the 70's and 50 at night. Got caught in a thunderstorm a couple miles before we got back and had to pull a downed tree off the trail. My next ride will be with Freedomflyer and family two weeks from now in Montana.

Buying Enclosed Trailer For Hunting and ATV Hauling
PROV replied to WonderMonkey's topic in General Chat
Drop down doors are the most common around here for ATVs with a side man door on them. If there's any twisting to the frame the barn doors can pop open or be difficult to open and close. DO NOT use a non-vented heater in the trailer, they have killed far too many people in that situation. Use a direct vent heater. Make sure you insulate the trailer or you will have condensation like mad. Make sure you have ventilation also. I would recommend the Aluma brand or something like it. -
I just got back from a one week fishing trip about 80 miles into Canada. Gorgeous weather. Days to low 70's, evenings to 50. Can't beat it this time of year.

At 63 degrees we are wearing Tshirts. We don't consider it cold until it's 0 or lower. 10 and above we're sitting outside on the ice fishing. 20 degrees and no gloves. No poisonous - Snakes Spiders Scorpions Happiness is jeans, chamois shirt and a good pair of boots. 😁

I would take that any day versus being broiled alive. 😄 🥵

When it comes to Force outboards that's probably an improvement....

We were fishing at my buddy's cabin on a small lake. Here's pics of one of the gang with some fish.

Was on a fishing trip to my friends cabin. Took a wheeler ride to check out a nearby forest fire. In spite of burning restrictions some moron was cleaning up around his cabin and burning branches and needles. It was windy and got away from him. Burned the cabin right to the ground and 40 acres of public forest. 2 big helicopters water bombed it, a Cat dozed a fire break and it took the fire crew 4 days to put out the hotspots. This guy is gonna pay big time for firefighting costs, restitution, fines and I'm pretty sure his insurance company won't cover the cabin.

Those things grow to the size of a pterodactyl!! Watch out!! Our state bird in Minnesota is the mosquito and they came out with a vengeance the last two days.

Thanks. Fishing on Lake of the Woods in Minnesota close to the Canadian border. Vertical jigging with 1/4oz jig and an emerald shiner minnow in 7' of water. Fish are moving back out of the Rainy River after spawning. If you look at Google maps this is a huge lake. We mostly fish out of Morris Point. I've also fished the Northwest Angle area and most of the eastern Canadian water.

They are excellent eating. Deep fried is a favorite. You can bake them also. This one is trophy size and I released it. Right about 10# but I didn't weigh it. Most people prefer to eat the 15"-18" fish.
