  1. question: what gun boot do ya'll recommend for my marlin 30-30 to put on my '03 trx450fm ?. i've got one on loan from my bud, but he'll want it back come modern gun season, looking at the coplin brand, i don't want something that will break the bank ?!. just need it to say where i mount it, and keep my gun dry/clean, not bounce around !.
  2. update: got the upper and lower ball joints, front bumper middle section, front lower skid plate, rear right tail light cover, some light bulbs, tail light small parts in yesterday, still waiting on the new oil pump ?, might make it here sat or mon ?. got plans this sat to go scout some hunting land with the guy that i did his '84 atc125m, he's gonna let me hunt on his land for 2-3 yrs in exchange for fixing his 3-wheeler !. muzzle loading starts here sat, headed down there , he's gonna show me around, do some target practice maybe, and finally get to fire my new 92x compact beretta !.
  3. yep, got mine from HF as well, but i leave all my tools in their place ( for the most part ) inside my shop.
  4. lol, the ends on mine are showing use for sure !..lol..but still works good !. mines orange, you musta got a pink one ?..lol.
  5. easy bro..no need for flying off the handle ( yes..i'm guilty of it as well lately ).
  6. yeah...they did not make many..and when you do find one in good shape ?, they wont be cheap !.
  7. heavy thumb, heavy tires maybe ?, but !, what about the centrifugal clutch drum ??, how does the inside lip look ?. the springs in it wont matter, but the weights will. you asked how the change clutch works ? simple design. centrifugal clutch spins at high rpms ( heavy thumb ! ), the faster this clutch spins ( crank ), the further the weights move outward, then they make contact with the inside of the drum. when this takes place, the drum spins faster, on back of drum, gear, gear is attached to change clutch gear, which now turns the change clutch, disk adjusted right ?, they spin the tranny shaft, which then ends up at the wheels.
  8. i knew about these yrs ago..not many around these days though.
  9. LOL, when you are installing a cv axle, ALWAYS PUT THE CASTLE NUT ON, THEN I USE MY PLASTIC HARBOR FREIGHT MALLET TO TAP IT INTO THE FRONT DIFF.
  10. the link above mine is for insurance claims bro, has nothing to do with filing a claim for lost mail. tracking number this morning said the same thing its said for 3-4 days now..checked BACK into memphis,tn, left there again..and currently '' heading some where '' ?..running late, but still in transit ?..its said this very same thing for 2 straight days now. me and you both...it does not take a package/letter to get from memphis,tn to little rock,ar !!. and yes..you are correct..the usps sucks !.
  11. so what you are saying is..that 500 bucks could not come fast enough to bail on this huh ?..lol.
  12. then you very well could have some gears/gear forks/shift drum messed up inside the motor.
  13. don't get me wrong ?, i know everyone has a way they like their atv...and i'm ok with this !. where i draw the line is: when you go changing stuff ?, get ready for odd results !. reason: when you change tires so to speak ?, this has a effect, this effect does other things to the drive line, some where in the drive line there WILL be a weak link ?, this weak link will break down, when it does..its gonna take other parts with it !. this is why i stay stock oem, when the dummies from the engineer table sit down and figure up the best way this atv will run ?, well..for the most part ?..THEY ARE RIGHT !. they don't design them to use as a boat !, they don't design them to be 10 ft in the air ?..they try to make them ( notice i said try ? ) to last as long as it can !. changing parts on something that IS NOT designed to handle ?..well..then your working on it 24/7 !..lol. anyway, do as you and any other owner whishes...it's your atv...UNTIL YOU BRING IT TO ME TO FIX/REPAIR/REPLACE PARTS ?!..THEN IT'S YOUR MONEY IN MY POCKET !..LOL.
  14. i do what ever it takes to get rust off, then just paint it.
  15. Bad motorcycle wreck in '08, messed my left leg up really bad.
  16. and this is straight from the usps website as well --> https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Missing-Mail-The-Basics#When_to_file_Missing_Mail_Search , WHAT YA'LL ARE LINKING IS FOR LOST PACKAGES FOR INSURANCE CLAIMS !!!..SAY'S SEVEN DAY'S WHEN MAIL IS LOST ?, IF YA'LL ARE GONNA POST SH_T ?..THEN KNOW WHAT THE FREAK YOUR DANG WELL TALKING ABOUT !!!.
  17. i buy all my oem parts from rmatv, or if they dont have them ?, i go to ( shiver ) partzilla. is this where i get to tell ya, ya shoulda left it stock ?, and did i not mention way back then, now is the time to change out all these parts your now needing ?..hmmm.
  18. can you not track down the first owner, and have them find the title, or file for a lost title ?. seems to me..this would be the first thing i'd try to do.
