  1. wiring the fan to come with a switch is easy, but the oil temp light will always stay on , this is because of the oil temp sensor.
  2. two things i will say, never...EVER..pounce on your opportunity to hound another atv rider, karma sucks ya know !..rofl. second: at least i owned up to it !..lol.
  3. take it easy bro, we need you with us !. waiting on my large order for my 350D, aghhh..lol.
  4. if rims are new ?, then i blame the tires, rims never go bad unless they get bent ?, tires on the other hand do come to us defective !. i have run itp mudlite at's with all my trx300fw's, and not one problem from them. i do however try to stay stock size, i can not remember if i went one 1 inch bigger or not when i bought them many yrs ago ?.
  5. as i figured, the prob is the tires, rims, or both !.
  6. you are deff in the right place !.
  7. my only concern..ok..maybe more than one !..lol. pieces from that piston had to go in lower engine, will not end well !. second: anytime you tear an engine down like you did ?, this is when you should always replace the cam chain, and inspect the oil pump. last but not least, just because this atv shows low hours/miles ?, DOES NOT TELL YOU HOW IT WAS TREATED IN THOSE HOURS/MILES !!!.
  8. hard to say fifthcorps ?, some models outside usa came with brake lights, some did not. they very well could have came already installed on your atv ?, or, the previous owner installed them ?. either way, they could be more tail lights ?, or added brake lights from him/her ?, or they came from the factory with them already installed ?. as jeep said, time to trace the wires, and see where they plug into ?. if they are in fact brake lights ?, then you will have a brake light microswitch on one of the brake levers at the bars ?, or, its made on the frame for the rear brake foot lever near the foot brake. welcome to the best atv source on the net !.
  9. update number two: i did have issues with the rotor having a slight wobble, i did manage to solve this problem with re-doing the hub studs, not sure what i did different ?, but it rotates alot smoother now. second, i did not like the brake lever pressure ?, comparing it to my 450 lever pressure, it seemed to be lacking ?, yes i did bleed the brakes, I KNOW FULLY WELL HOW TO BLEED BRAKES !..LOL. so i made a trip out to my buds place, picked up a master cylinder off of a trx420, reason: the trx420 uses the same master cylinder as the trx450 i believe ?, brought it home, took it apart, cleaned it all up, installed it, bled the bakes, now i have full lever pressure !. so, if you are doing this conversion/mod ?, your old master cylinder ( oem ) will not fully work like it should ?..IT WILL WORK !, but just not like it should. still waiting on tires, rims, center caps to come in, i will update later when i get them in, mounted on rims, and mounted on the atv, stay tuned outlaws !.
  10. update: well, i stand corrected on this product, fish, i owe you an apology !, i got the kit the other day, after opening the box, was discovered that the hub spacers that were in a sealed bag mind you !, had a sticker on the outside of the bag, yep, you know what is coming, '' made in china '' stuck to it !. i just got off the phone with high lifter with tech, after asking the guy if all this product was really in fact ALL made in usa as they claim ?, why is this sticker on this part ?, his response was '' some of the parts are made here in usa, the rest are out sourced '' , i then asked him..doesn't this fall under fraud ??, he responded '' sir..i can not answer this '' of course he could not, this is a legal issue now..rofl, they know they are breaking the law !. i also just checked the ebay store as to where i bought it, it said CO, BUT IT WAS SHIPPED FROM FL ?!..hmmm..wounder what that is all about ??. moral of story, yes..if i wanted a cheap china product ?, i could have done what fish tried to get me to do, and this was just buy super atv !, but, as i've done over the years, i always was under the impression that this product was all built in usa, which now i know..IT IS NOT !. SO FAIR WARNING TO ANYONE THAT IS THINKING OF BUYING A HIGH LIFTER FRONT BRAKE KIT FOR THEIR ATV, SAVE YOUR CASH..JUST BUY A SUPER ATV FRONT BRAKE KIT !.
  11. with it up on jacks, no load, tires wont affect the drive line, but if a rims is bent, or the weight throws it off ?, then yes..it will. i want to know if it still shakes with the wheels all off ?.
  12. i have an eye for details..lol. when you restore them like i do ?, you tend to make them look correct !..lol.
  13. his display for what he thought gear position switch was missing ?, come find out, that model does not have this feature on them, only the es models have it.
  14. nice !!, but your front center caps for the rims is missing on right side, not sure if left front side is same way ?, no pics of left side :-).
  15. you are correct, all these es models popping up on here lately, i was thinking it was a 450es, my bad, fm models only show speed on display, least my '03 is this way.
  16. bad gear position switch, or bad connection at harness.
  17. run it without the tires on it, see if it still shakes ?.
  18. ok..BEFORE you buy that speed sensor !!!!!!!, take a cordless drill, put the shaft of this sensor in it, turn the key on, work the drill..watch the display..does it show any speed ??.
  19. pull bolts out of diff, split it, remove the left side cover up off the axle, this will give you a better look at the ring gear and axle splines, not to mention see how much rust is in there.
  20. update: got everything installed, DID need to whack the bracket back, and '' tweak '' the hub on right side, but all in all, i am happy. pics show bolts i used, installed in bracket, and everything on. now i wait for rims and itp tires.
  21. update: tracking number say's my brake kit will be here today ?, we'll see !. i need to get to lowes or homedepot, and see about getting the longer mounting bolts for the mounting plate to mount the plate to the knuckles.
  22. only time will time how this battery holds up ?. i do like the dual cable fittings on each terminal, that is a big plus when it comes to attaching extra attachments such as a battery trickle charger.
