Yup i recall when eching acid... Would work really well on that alumnie semi dump trailor..... Now it's more like water...i was thinking of testing both concrete acid or HVAC coil acid (might be the same i don't know) ... Stuff just isn't like it used to be... I was told some info that doesn't sound too good for the future of freon....from a very good man... So now... Ac units.. Along with gas ranges small tank toilets etc etc... Might as well go Amish..... Lol!

I was just looking around and located this shade posted this back in 2010.... i still plan in doing that add on diy programmable fan control unit on the 00 300... I put the hondaline cooling kit fan and brackets on, but I'm not hacking the wire harness to run the oem fan control unit... IMO a programmable one is way better....but when i saw shades post... Now have some idea of the temps it triggers at..

Eching acid ? Um....... There's a certain brand I've used before... Well... Like everything else they dialed it down....it's not much stronger then oven spray cleaner which has also been dialed down... Lol! You've heard of this stuff ? I've used this, and it works great, I've never used it with orbital buffer or buffer of any type (hand only) that's all LJ uses for some of those pricy Harley rims.. And other alumny pertz... I think I've posted this before ? I was thinking maybe z7what might get that page out and give some advise on what he used, he might in the old forums, heck! Might even have spoken here about it too.... You recall ? His headlight build ? Lol that was a great build..i know just from the pics (night pics with lights on) i wouldn't want him behind me at night with those flame throwers on..... Haha!

Nice for someone who can't use a foot shift, but the 300 doesn't need that mess IMO .... Granted I'm (SOMEWHAT) impressed.... But I'd go with the arm shifters from moose like fish and myself have....if i purchased it I'd take that mess off... The main reason would clunking / shocking the drive train... Honda made the 300 just about perfect as is... Disk brakes would have been nice... But speeds on a 300 minus wheelers build ... Don't really require brakes... I hardly ever used mine... But then again I'm not riding with one bike in front and one bike in back... Hauling wood... Well loads i pulled were trailer weight... And even with disk brakes it wouldn't stop... It would just drag the bike... Like I've had happen once...i think the owner waisted money on that gizmo ... He should have located a 424 kickout... Way back... Then you'd be talking about a bike that would sure get my attention!! Maybe even 2 grand plus, but nope not with that mess.... I say that but i would like a better demo... Of him shifting verses one of us using the long moose shifter or foot shifter...
