that is so true!! lynyrd skynyrd was also that brand of band, some had and some didn't. ac/dc will always be one of my favorites.
  2. you might check the throttle adjustment at the handlebars , when turning from full left, to full right ... the rpm should not change, in one of your picks looks like the boot on the thumb throttle housing was pulled back, so not sure if you adjusted it, or not.

yeah..... i think he had some health issues ? now i could be wrong, i do know he lost his brother. Malcolm Young. caused by complications from dementia .... very sad to see that band break up, i grew up listening to there music (when i could) pop didnt like my ways at all.... and hated to woken up when cranked the radio! lol.
  4. ^^^^^ credit goes to shade, as clean as that bike is, unless a mud dobbers has pluged it, (as fish mentioned) you should be fine, heck the frame drain holes look spotless! if anything, you could shorten the line... but i myself wouldn't worry too much about it!, even the pumpkin vent line is still on, most times those are long gone, on a used bike, and air box cup is still on, so this bike has been well taken care of, and not abused.

yeah i think so, this thread is long! lol maybe a song label / title from now on ? 60 pages! you have to Admit it's a great thread!
  9. that's right ^^^ and that's just about what it takes nowa days, besides if it's that guy you said was with the tree trimming crew, you already know he's been criminal for a while, and was at your place when those tires ended gone, if the cops wont do anything, I'd find him, and .. well, i agree with wheeler 100%, and have been there, payback is sweet!!! did the guy happen to give his name out ? , you might be able to bait the guy on face book to link this back to Duran, and you mentioned this seller was west of you, so you have a couple of more clues.
  10. dont build one of these, fish....
  11. congrats jeep! and you thought you'd never see them again.... how to prove it? that's a hard one, at least let the local law enforcement know, maybe they can collect them, that way they want just up and disappear again... and check him for criminal history and other stolen items ? alert them to some of his criminal activities, that way others won't suffer the same ordeal. or at least maybe find out if he was the one who snatched, them, i think you said you thought the guy worked for a tree trimming service ? I'm glad at someone has lucked out finding there stolen property, at least something good could come out of this.
  12. I'd take this one, and the truck! nice setup!
  13. the Cracker Barrel here pays pretty good for split certain length oak, and hickory, if you can get your foot in the deal.
  14. you might be looking at more then just a not moving issue, with all that rust, over time, another thing i would do is check the fame, for rot.
  15. i was wandering when that point would come up, i couldn't use one on some of the terrain i have here, if were me, going over certain terrain, the GF would ride a second bike besides it was just fun having her on a second bike. if i was going this route, i would add weight to the front rack.
  16. are my eyes deceiving me, or is she missing the rear axle hub castle nuts ? or are the hubs welded ?
  17. you got it! just the opposite of letting off the throttle to up shift.
  18. that should be posted in the mechanics trick thread, fish.

  20. how would you like to wake up looking at these two ? choices choices....
  21. some are still trying to figure out how to bit rid of bottles, but i don't think a chipper would be good for that purpose, maybe the old fassion way pick them up out of yard sack them, and haul them off ??
  22. toodeep kinda of soothing like this ? being this a 300, but the same idea, minus the seat, and rear storage.
  23. and try peping the throttle when down shifting to match the engine rpm with the drivetrain speed, takes a while to learn this, but it's less of a shock to drivetrain.
