  1. i sure hope they open backup .... you racing guys sure do put alot into those beast... it's ashamed to see them just set... plus i imagine takes a tad to get back into the groove of racing / being chased ... man... i hear you on the rain.... i didn't think it would ever stop here... most rain / flooding we've seen in years! i was finally able to mow again today... those riding boots you got, those we the ones you, and another hand talked about here, did they work good ??

if the locust (hedge, bodark) was that close, and not growing into a building, fence rom etc..... i would have de limbed them, and let them grow for firewood... unless they bush out... in that case ... stump them, and then cover the stump with sea salt...
  3. ive been looking forward to this build .. im still wanting a honda sport quad .. to blast around on my farm on.. i have one stetch 70 achers completely flat .... except two small field breaks ... i tested it one the 300 (in two wd) at top speed , but it just not fast enough, and a tad too (sure other factors as well) heavy to catch some air .. last time all i got @ 45 was 5 feet ... NOT enough... did they close up because of covid, or ??
  4. sounds to me like your accident prone, when it comes to horses ... I've heard people say horses are dumb, but thats not true, not even close, they (like dogs) can tell when your nervous or frightened i agree fish... so many people get wound up doing just a couple of hobbies / jobs ... thankfully we still have a few (VERY few) that like doing defrent things ... just wished i had access to fresh sea food .... chalk it up to being up in Tennessee ... we have no dependable fresh dealers anywhere close, least none that are trust worthy ..
  5. well rounded ... lol, oh yeah , i saw you passed a couple more skills , just don't forget honda mods rule!! .... keep going !!
  6. why does this not shock me lol! is there anything you haven't done ??

thanks ! a pic is worth a thousand words ;) i can't say I've seen a maple with red leaves all year long ... all i have is two maple's a dogwood .... couple of hackberry's , one holly tree, and four monster pines, and one southern mangnolia tree ... it's a flat more job to clean limbs up after storms ... lol here's the edge of both the maple , and southern mangnolia. Edit: a couple of giant black walnut trees.

sugar maple (around here) is considered the hard wood maple trees the most common types I've seen are red, silver, and sugar, (sugar) being very numerous over the other two species , I've got two in my front yard (one monster over 200 years old ) ...ive used sugar maple wood in my outside furness..... bodarks are a pain, but perfect for firewood

i believe your calling a sugar maple , a water maple .... yes .... we have a bunch here, i prefer bodark (Osage orange) fire wood... they're a very bothersome thorny tree... with extremely hard wood, burns hotter then just about any of species of tree, I've tried, but takes a man of a saw setup to deal with them .. the only other use people have for them here is fence post because they rot from the inside out... and last for years.
  15. sure looks you have fun!! lol! I'll be looking forward to seeing you win some races!
  16. i hear you! mine came in handy when hauling wood ... most of the terrain i was covering (loaded up with firewood) was too ruff for higher gears so... low rpm, and from sl aka 1 to 2....and reverse was it! t . i can see using one in deep mudding conditions , or if one happens to be handicapped..... that's why i KINDA like es models ..... just think honda should have designed them better ...
  17. well... one things forsure .... here your gunna get schooled ... lol! no better place to learn IMO ..
  18. those dedgum pills again "sigh" lol!
  19. that happens here more times then you know ... lol!
  20. your talking bout that moose shifter ? i agree .... i got that one when i messed up my back... it helped a great deal, but yes love hate with it.. lol, thankfully my back issue was a temp issue .. so took the shifter off, but it's still there if i need it. i got the longest one moose offered ... i believe fish uses one, or used to...
  21. I'm always happy to hear of a new honda atv rider ... be sure to let her know the 300 doesn't have the best brakes (only downfall i know of) engine braking (down shifting at low rpm) comes in REAL handy ;) be sure to keep us updated!
  22. y'all heck !!! i own 2 300's and a 350 tank !!!! lol! i figured you had checked some other models ... but i bring this up, because the honda auto transmission expert finally joined the forums.. lol! @Brian Bertram
