  1. happy Mother's Day to the moms out there!
  2. i too am lost Bout the cooling the plant off .... HEY! when you (some) go get your vehicle oil change done, do you worry about the engine temp ? NO.... but adding cold oil back in... especially for those older engines where the oil spout is located on a valve cover ... then your putting cold oil right on the head... a honda (4stroke engine) atv is totally deferent .... as for vehicles what i think about is dry starting, loose oil filter, and a loose drain plug.
  3. this is one way to have fun riding , and mowing ... no engine !! and the blade is easy to get to! (sharpen) body pertection, with this outfit comes to mind ...
  4. personaly i never worried about lube changes except ... not letting anyone else do them ..( as tbrider stated ) however .... warming the oil is a good IMO ...
  5. thanks! that's a nice speedo and hour meter setup ... not a standard option over here in the states .... be a nice edition to hondaline thread. TRX300 2WD Passion Red/ 1988-1997 Patriot Red/ 1998-2000 Southern Blue/ 1993-1994 Adventure Green/ 1994-2000 Harvest Beige/ 1995-2000 TRX300 4WD Passion Red/ 1988 and then 1991-1997 Patriot Red/ 1998-2000 Cosmic Gray/ 1988 only Southern Blue/ 1990-1994 (Only option for 1990) Adventure Green/ 1992-2000 Harvest Beige/ 1995-2000 credit for this ^^^ goes to @Fishfiles
  6. k & n filter oil would be just fine ...foam filters are not soaked in oil! but rather coated good with the excess squeezed out. (as stated) as a rule ... if you have oil drops in the air box, you've not done it right, or used the wrong oil.

maybe for parts but here we won't get that low .... the barometric pressure isn't high enough , and the humidity level is too high ... maybe ?? low 40s he won the prize for this >> "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between people". why , i don't know because he failed at that, and everything else he did, and the black friends i have don't even acknowledge him as black.. i can't post what they call him here, but i agree. dr henry washington carver i agree he ^^^ was a good man!
  8. live seen people try that before , and just that ..... not like you did ... (in stages) what ive seen with ... pure (auick) heat jobs ... is the plastic became more brittle .. and had a tendency to crack easy... but now ... we're talking amatures ... my 97 could use a polish job..
  9. oiling the foam helps trap very fine particulate matter.... just figure it works the same as the OILED foam element on your 300.
  10. if THP saw anything like that around here ... he'd be under the jail... lol toy rig , and all!

yeah he won it .... it .... made me sick... his, they should take back! and he (chicken !) should face up to those sexaul assault charges .
  12. plus ^^^ light coating of 30 weight motor oil on the foam is what my 15 horse requires ... i Cheet ... with a light coating of bel-ray foam oil, besides that engine Doesnt have a oil filter .. so I'd oil the foam for extra pertection
  13. your getting there ! thanks for the update! you mentioned the air filter .. does this call for a two stage inner paper element, and outer wrap around foam ?

oh don't get me started on that idiot! lol ... i ashamed to say he is from Tennessee ... but no one here will ever admit it. (those that matter) haha! here he's known as the masseuse melester ... anyways .. not to get too political ... i hear you on running behind on mowing ... i just got caught up mowing yesterday ... then as always more rain ... looks ill also be spot spraying with pronto big, and tuff ..

wish we lived closer ... lol I'd saw them giants up ! just be very aware of those spring loaded limbs after many years of cutting one learns to read / see pressure points ... on downed trees thats the danger ... plus the tree rolling (depending on how its laying) as limbs are cut away .. as for weather here ... another small winter ... rain, and mist off, and on all day... but as said .... expect 18 degrees ?? nah ... i don't see it getting that cold ... here, one things for sure ... those few that have gardens out .... better cover them as best they can ... and farmers with crops coming up will really be hit hard ..
  16. major ? need just a tad bit more info... the engine, and drive train, are the same ...i believe the foreman has a gas gauge detachable front light ... the sub lights are clear.. wider fender flairs ... i couldn't advise on plastic colors .... shade, retro, goober, and jeep can tell you more then i can.. as for the electrical ... credit for this great information ^^^^ goes to retro
  17. no, no ... I've heard those words too.. i think there's a song from grampa jones .... from 1952.
  18. I'm getting hungry ... lol .. i always thought (or was told) bone in made the thys retain more moisture ... then again, I've also heard of people splitting the meat down to the bone ..... I've have to talk to my butcher about hooking me up with some boneless thys .
  19. I've used this season mix before .... i use this on oven baked bone in thys , legs, and leg quarters ... how i do mine is on a elevated rack over a drip pan... i don't care for the grease ether ... and it doesn't turn out as dry as you'd think ... i never really cared for the original Kentucky fried chicken .. it's too greasy .. IMO ... Popeyes is indeed much better!
  20. sorry to hear this retro.... I'm like y'all ... lifting those heavy chunks of wood ... some times I'm fine ... then i can turn a certain way... and down i go... even to point of crawling on my knees to get a coffee in the morning .. this might sound odd... but i went got me a rocking chair.. and with certain excises my younger sister told me about (knock on wood) haven't had an issue in a while ... i hope you get better soon.

oh yes..... been there many many times .....(short time after that i joined with rural fire) . the odd thing is no trees were downed across any roads close .... and of the places i did go.... people had stepped up... and did it them selves ... myself, and some friends helped clear roads many years back with a severe weather out (confirmed tornadoes) destroyed the small town of culleoka ... does make one feel good to help there neighbor recover ...heres one i got a few years back.... i missed out over these storms because i had too much cleaning up around my own place... helping Dennis fix fences and get his cattle back where they belonged ...
  22. it didnt take just that wrinkled old hag to screw this country up... it was libs, and dems. (For years) .. ... and i don't blame Californians for wishing to move ... but.... that's there problem... they voted those idiots in... it never surprises me how many people forget history that got us to THIS point of stupidty.
  23. what brand ?? sure did turn out good! @Goober used this before, and had great results !!
