  1. no gas leeking down on the engine case ?? ... plugged blowby tube ?? next thought would be the valves might be out of adjustment ... because the intake for those is right there close (right and left) upper front fender..
  2. might be a good idea to check the gas tank vent in this case ^^^ a stuck needle, can also completely fill the crank case was gas ..., I've seen that happen on rare occasions ...
  3. that's some beautiful riding area y'all have ... what's the story on the building ?
  4. is this whats missing ? because i see it if your post.
  5. lol! well .. at least you'll be getting some of your tax dollars back :-)
  6. I'd go along with what jeep said ... but looks to me like your drilling is off center (tad bit) .. but now that still doesn't mean .... anything .. do this, take a magnet .. and see how many filings are drawn out ...
  7. yeah, i think she was , but, according to @ATC4ever.... they don't wont her up there ... ether ...just can't win for loosing...
  8. can you get us some better pics of where your at now ?? my thinking is it should back right out ... IF, you've drilled straight in.?. and if anything don't move / role the bike !! IF, you have the idea the bolt is against the ring gear.
  9. well.... i should have kept up with what shade, and toodeep posted ... lol! i reckon i can be tossed in the book ... (you snooze, you loose)
  10. i would agree... i also read they are there to help with brake drum noise ... whether thats correct, or not .... i couldn't say. in the big honda bible there called ring damper https://www.hondapartsnation.com/oemparts/p/honda/42624-hc4-000/ring-damper << honda parts nation.
  11. I've been thinking about that filter setup...( NICE ) have you thought about using strong magnets in the tank or .... close to the drain that goes directly to the filter ... might help in filtering, and the longevity of the filter element ...
  12. man! i hate to hear that! buddy.... hope it's not too bad.
  13. the setup looks fine to me .... nice job on rebuilding this cutter!
  14. i would think so, to it would be walking all over the place .... a caster on farm equipment is usually used on rigid mounted implements .... but a locking caster might ?? would work good, for off setting the deck ? and sence there's no direct drive line ... (pto shaft) to bind up...
  15. i think you'd be fine with eight blades ... being that cog pulley, and drive belt would keep the blades in time ... however .... i am curious as to why the original owner had only two on each disk ?? .... my 1st thought would be not enough power to spin eight , OR he was using it in very heavy overgrowth... I've been looking at a few engine driven flail mower's i figured you'd like to see some of these ... lol I've used these bigger pto driven models ... one main issues is vibration .... and rotor wrap from twine, wire etc etc..
  16. looking good! i think from the looks there not suppose to be tight against the drum.... this pic kind of gives an idea ... say.. you were to strike a rock.... the blade would pivot on the bolt ... causing less blade / belt .. and drive shock.
  17. amen! that would be the crazy / insane part of the population ... i reckon.
  18. probably so... lol ... I'm glad so many here feel the same way about that wrinkled old hag ... I'd love to know how many drugs she's taking ... a good dose of thorazine would solve her issues ...
  19. hm..... this has to be a fake !! or plastic... ether way that hag has no clue.
  20. I've never done it myself ... but seen a few that have tryed it ... from what I've been told they re break because the weld is more brittle ...
