  1. nope ..... never said you did , nor anyone else, lol! but as stated the topic sure has turned grayish .... personaly if it was me .... I'd learn to do it myself ... for my own machine .(THAT I WOULD NOT SELL ) ... and in the second place it was a bad choice for them to be designed to be reprogrammable for milage / hours ... that being said ... i don't see one thing wrong with a screen repair. question ... is there not a tamper seal of some sort that shows the meter has been opened up ? third ... if had to replace the meter on a used machine .... i would document the milage / hours and date via, pictures, or video of the old meter ... along with dates of servicing, including the hours, and miles written down.
  2. do we need to crack that whip ?? haha
  3. @slowindown when did anyone say it was wrong ? or, that he was doing wrong ?? no one that i can see .... besides ... the smart guy looking to purchase a used atv does not go by hours or miles ... but rather the condition of the machine ... maybe how many sets of tires ??
  4. no, i wouldn't think the law applies here, ether .. https://www.justice.gov/civil/case/federal-odometer-tampering-statutes i was answering fishes question, tampering with a legit vihicle is.
  5. i gotcha .... I'm looking forward to another project ... that wood table would bring some big money over here in the states ...
  6. yes! , for tampering with a vihicle it's a felony. glad this was brought up.
  7. theat bottle cap table is looking nice ... i take it, it's going to have a glass cover ?
  8. moved to the correct thread what are your upcoming plans for your HONDA ? what did you do with your atv today? we need a topic change to one of these threads .... i would agree with @Chevymec @01RUBY500 yes just the oil in the filter housing. i won't advise on using the old filter ...IMO it depends on what the old oil looks like..
  9. i reckon this is the new clean EPA models ? lol it's going to need a more power a bigger seat and a higher gvwr for for fat !!! al gore (misuse molester) bore

i really feel for those people , jeep.... Nashville is still recovering ... i sure hope this isn't becoming a weather trend ...
  11. looking sharp.... i know how you are about detail... have you thought about adding fenders ?
  12. that is a very good point i have noticed that to, I've found out these blades g5 mulch better with certain types of grass...( they lack in vacum) . when i got mine .. i don't think they had the high lift blades ?? when i got mine ..if these EVER need to be re placed ... I'll go with high lift ... I'd like to them combine the high lift with Fusion™ blades . https://www.oregonproducts.com/en/professional-products/lawn-and-garden/mower-blades/gator-mulching-blades/c/g6-mulchingblade-p

after a night of heavy rain (yet again) another temp drop from 70 down to 48 ...(still falling) with a forecasted low of 30 over night ... looks like the The “little winters” are here, Dogwood Winter, Blackberry Winter, Locust Winter, Whippoorwill Winter, Redbud Winter,
  14. plus one , fish .. i would have left it ..now.... i don't know the law .. but as it goes possession is 9/10 of the law .AND BESIDES the law .. think about the owners loss. let me lay out like this .... if i had an item i HAD to leave for some reason... i still would like the respect of knowing i could get my property back ... besides that ... i would not be comfortable not knowing the complete back history.... the manager of the park had a responsibility of contacting the original owner ... and give him notice to remove it ... or have it removed ... where it would become property of the county / state .. that's how it is here with public property / land my question is ... why did bike swap so many hands ... and be stored for 4-5 years ? plus the fact this has been posted online ... where any one and there mother can veiw it .... kind of sounds like you had dealings with a few with no morals what so ever. especially the director of the Texas mud park .
  15. i couldn't locate the thread ... but here's a pic .... that would perfect to break the wind during winter time riding ... would also take care of those spiders webbs along the trails ...
  16. nice looking bike prov .... I've been wanting a front windshield ... like that .... @Goober has a nice setup ... .... I'll look and see if i can find the post ... who's your riding buddy ??
  17. jeep... are you getting more like you pop ? lol! ff... we went way off the rails ... sorry ... I'll take the blame ... sigh but ^^^
  18. check your phone ... lol
  19. i did some research on a better heavy mulching blade .. and the edges are treated .... these hold an edge a lot longer then stock blades, now the g6 gators ... are even better ... both made by Oregon ... I've tangle with small rocks fire ant mounds, mole tunnels etc .... and they still hold a very strong edge ... but not very easy to sharpen ... I've had many stock blades just bend for no reason at at all... but these blades are just flat more tuff ... i must be doing something right using the same setup sence 03 ... lol ....
  20. here's a should have known better .. or had some speed going ...
  21. i have no words for this one .... i know of one who could probably make friends with him.. lol ...
  22. hydro oil change ... snapper lt15/38 .... according to my records at ace ... this 15 horse briggs has more hours on it then any other 15 ohv engine in maury county she's had her issues with mice ... has the original traction belt .. and gator blades .. and a new cooling fan, and doesn't have one of those crapy EPA regelated carbs ...
  23. you can by pass those safety switches ... the trans is probably a tuff torq k-46 hydro.... IMO much better then a manual trans ... i never use the brakes on mine .. but the life of those is (not easy to do) hydro oil change .. and the cooling fan .. those transmitions remind of a combine hydrostatic transmition ... a bit more complicated ... lol
