Sounds like you boys are getting some weird weather, it's supposed to be in the 50's by the end of the week, totally weird for us this time of year. My guess is we will have some huge amounts of heavy wet snow in March and a lot of rain in April, which will mean more heavy snow pack in the mountains. we don't get many Ice storms up here, on a rare occasion. Not only the new generation but all the yuppies that are moving into our state working out of their homes with the internet. When that crashes there is going to be a lot of helpless people, not a lot of folks know how to survive or take care of themselves.

For me I dont think it would be fear of water, I think it would be the fear that my differentials would look like those pictures shade posted in his Rebuild thread. LOL.

Our Walmart is so lame I'm not sure I've ever even seen that paint there. Their automotive section has really deteriorated and shrunk over the last 10 years. They hardly carry anything anymore. It's like a prison sentencing or community service to have to walk through the doors, avoid going there at all costs if possible.

Nice job on the plastics, does that bondo stay put? And what paint is that that sticks to atv plastic? Any special plastic prep before spraying? Any primer?

Well, we all have our crosses to bear. I'll put up with the cold For the lack of people. That's one thing I can say that keeps the population down. And one thing I'm grateful for is that we have About 200 days of sunshine a year. Only rain in the Spring time and late fall. And no hurricanes or flooding. Y'all can have that stuff down South

Lots of trails to ride in them there mountains. They're not As far away as they look. The phone cameras don't represent that very well. This Valley is about 30 miles Wide by 35 to 40 long, mountains pretty much on all sides loaded with trails😁

Was a little colder than I thought last night, -10 this morning. No wonder my nose and ears were cold this morning. Another cloudless day in the Gallatin Valley.

Just giving you crap. I am amazed at how you guys can immediately diagnose issues without seeing or hearing something. Shows you have spent A LOT of time with your hands dirty. Awesome bank of knowledge here, enjoyable to read about and see folks having success with their repairs. -
Yup, did last night, -2 this morning, love the goose down comforter!

Friend of mine has one on his old Polaris Sportsman 500, I rode it a few times and didn't care for it. I found it a bit dangerous going up really steep trail with sharp turns. Especially when turning to the left, it seemed like it wanted to add power when I didn't want it or need it. He told me he's about tipped it over backwards while climbing because of it. He bought it that way so has gotten somewhat used to it. Please be careful, I can understand that it is easier to operate for long periods of sustained speeds but could end up being dangerous for you. -
Welcome from Montana

Beautiful day today. Not a cloud in the sky, which means very cold tonight. Already at 0 Fahrenheit and still dropping.
