  1. Retired now but 18 years in commercial printing, some HVAC, and 22 years in a paper mill. My wife is laid off from her retail job until this is over.

Hate to get picky and no offense intended but they are called magazines - NOT clips.

I've shot just about every 9mm load out there and my Beretta 92 FS Inox from about 1999 and my 2 year old Shield eat everything without a hiccup.
  5. I changed the oil and air filter in mine and cleaned out some of the clay that was frozen into the frame from deer season. Boiled maple syrup with my buddy yesterday.
  6. Sorry for the misunderstanding but it wasn't the cleaning. I was just referring to your gun. He was shooting factory ammo and I'm convinced one cartridge was undercharged resulting in a pressure spike. You could hear the difference.

Cool as !. How much does it cost?
  8. Yes I can say it and I can also say I saw one blow up the action at the range. Parts of it hit me 10' away.

  10. Sounds like great fun but a long ride from Minnesota.
  11. I second this. Use it in my Honda generator also. All temp and great all weather starting.

Still winter here!! Snowed last night and still knee deep in my yard.
  13. Alot of our smaller towns are open to them now. Five or more counties around here are open for use on all county roads. We have everything from logging trails, glacial moraines, gravel, clay, peat bogs and swamps. We also have hundreds of miles of designated trails. Most of this is in the northern half of the state though. Too many people and private/farming land in southern half.
  14. They outlawed most of what they used to own though. Poor !. Another liberal government.

  16. I will state this only once - THERE IS NO BIGFOOT. I am not a believer and never will be. Have spent over 40 years rambling and hunting our very remote area. NO tracks, sightings, nobody has pics on our hundreds of game cams. For laughs some friends made Bigfoot feet with a sandcast and silicone with laces embedded. When they find a good muddy trail they strap them on and get the rumors going. To date there has been zero verifiable physical evidence. You believers go on dreaming.
  17. Ya gotta watch it with the ratio cause it can range from 35-45 to 1 depending on sugar content. So we check barometric pressure for boiling temp of water and a hygrometer and have a chart at what temp to take the syrup off. This ensures the sweetest syrup without turning to sugar.
  18. Without getting into great detail, when collected from the tree we filter it immediately into containers for transport. Then you boil it to a certain temp above where you could turn it into sugar but stay several degrees above that. Then we finish boil the syrup on a gas fryer(like a fish cooker). When it's at exactly the right point we pour it through a filter into sterilized bottles. Then you cap them. They can be stored unrefrigerated until you open bottle, then you should keep it refrigerated.
  19. My buddy started syruping about 4 years ago and I help him from time to time. Last year we got 21 gallons of finished syrup. We had to dump over 200 gallons of sap on the ground because we couldn't keep up. He bought a bigger stove made for this so we can keep up.
