  1. I don't know how to change that icon, but I'll learn how if you show me which one to replace it with? It is a Font Awesome icon and there a gazillion of them to choose from...
  2. It works that way here too. Can you provide a screenshot so we can find out why its not working for you?
  3. I'm glad you recovered from that disaster.
  4. If you create a "sticky" guide on how to do something, use the Tutorials app (choose an appropriate category) to publish it rather than posting in a thread. That way each one will have a short description and a support thread will be created and linked to the Tutorial in the forum automatically. Try making one for practice if you wish...? We can delete mistakes until you learn how it works. You'll have to buy some feeler gauges before you can advise folks how to adjust valves properly though... 🤣

    Weather

... and 13 families rule the earth. The royals and their bankers. The occulted own every gubmint corporation on earth. And own and control every human mind on the planet. They've had UFOs since before WWII. Remember the Foo-Fighters...? Roswell was one of theirs too. EDIT: They use symbolism to communicate ownership and allies. 11, 22, 33 and 66 are master prime numbers, each prime number have their own unique meanings. 666 is their propaganda.... it means nothing to them. They aren't religious at all, they are the providers of false religion. 9/11 was made for TV... much of it was filmed and narrated beforehand. They killed JFK on 11/22... the number 22 denotes FATAL change of direction for humanity. JFK was the only Catholic President in our history. I forget the number... but someone did a genealogy study on our past Presidents and discovered that all but two could be traced back to the same royalty bloodline. Trump is their Chump too.

    Music

Great thread @Fishfiles! I lost the album (Anthology) back in the late 70s while living on the road out west. I never heard this song play again until I went looking for it several years later. For some odd reason this is one of the songs that I missed the most from my old vinyls collection.
  7. Lemme guess... someone left a Polaris parked in the shop overnight and forgot to disconnect the battery cable..?
  8. Patience I guess... We opened totally empty and there is not much that we can do to speed up the growth process.
  9. Lets see whats happening in late May or June once we get some summer going on... be a good time I think.
  10. Yep, thats how I did 'em too, before I owned feeler gauges. 🙂
  11. Its getting better... I mistakenly had some sections of the forum blocked in our robots.txt file for almost two weeks! But those errors have been fixed, so in about 7 or 8 days or so site indexing should be on a normal schedule with Google. I checked their search console this morning and found that all but 35 pages had been indexed so far... and those 35 were resubmitted, so just gotta wait until google crawls again. I'll check Yandex tomorrow and see how they are doing. Bing has us indexed but their search engine is pretty lame, not much different than it was in the mid '90s. :-)
  12. My most needed tools have changed a lot over the years. I gave away most of my precision measurement stuff last summer because I don't use them anymore. I am down to one drill press now, one bench grinder & wire wheels, two 4 1/2 inch grinders, two Dremel type die grinders, two impacts, a gazillion various drill sets and taps & dies... still got a gazillion hand tools and pullers and hones, but many of those have already been given away too. I avoid heavy repair nowadays... prefer to just tinker on new projects or minor repairs for entertainment. I still try to keep a project ATV going year 'round though. Got a 450 Foreman half done and will be looking for another project bike this summer. ATVs are still fun to restore and Mod. But many of my old hobbies and skills aren't interesting (or became too expensive to pursue) anymore. My most used tools nowadays besides hand tools are my magnifier headset, my multimeters and my soldering stations. My 3 lb hammer and pry bars are not far behind tho...
  13. Errmmm.... not sure about that washer, but it might belong on the reverse lockout lever shaft? The manual should provide a clue. So it still doesn't shift.... try loosening the case bolts just enough where they are still snugged up and try shifting it again.
  14. One of my uncles had one of those twin 250s. It has a battery ignition if I'm not mistaken, Points gap should be set at .018" after polishing the contacts. You may need new condensors in it by now though... they deteriorate over time and cause the points to arc and fail. They're easy motors to work on. GB is only a few hours south of me... if ya still got it put up come summer, hollar!
  15. ....and of course, never overtighten any of the cases bolts. They're sensitive to warping when bolts are overtightened, which sometimes causes binding of the shift drum. Still gotta check that GP SW before the rear cover goes back on too.
  16. Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it!
