Good answer! 🙂 The 2nd Shindy kit I got(long story, don't follow my lead...but I do have 2 carbs now that will likely work)..the bowl gasket wasn't right on 2nd kit. I made it work...but itw asn't as good of quality as the first kit.

You're gonna catch crap for the AllBalls carb kit(don't have a good reputation in the quality arena). That aside. Loctite on the carb boot screws. Gonna say not needed. Tighten it til it feels right....shouldn't be super tight...Good and snug is my guess. Good luck!

Thanks guys. (Except the China contingent. Of course. 😉 ) I am assuming aluminum products skid plate hook holster is not compatible with a kfi mount?

Overuse of capitals shade? Or just saying its the Shade approved plate?

@slowindown I am looking at a winch mount for my 450. Read your post about the KFI plates. looks pretty good. Do you have a pic of the front after its mounted? It almost looks like it has a front plate built in that goes in front of the bumper. I was going to get a hook holster too at some point, but it looks like they'd clash. Thanks! Whoops. I have seen about 4-5 'ATV Flippers' operating on the local Indiana boards. Started to notice names and remember them. Same guys, always selling stuff. If they make them the same way as Hemi manifolds... The way they make those is ! neat. They actually mold them in a custom metal mold. Melting temp of steel is less than plastic. They melt the metal out. Dip them. Then run a metal detector over them to ensure they got all the mold out. Then proceed to put threaded inserts in them and compression limiters. In my 25 yrs in engineering, the coolest manufacturing process I've ever seen. Made by Siemens(15 yrs ago, not sure today) in Chatham up in Canada. Close to bcs. Stayed in a hotel that was in an old factory in downtown Chatham. Each room was 'themed'. One I was in was a Vette them and felt like a garage. Nighstands were Vette Rims. IN town there was a high end resto shop for cars. They restore Duesenberg's or 30s Movie Star cars.

No worries man. I will say I have avoided craigslist for years due to scams and early problems. Facebook has market cornered on sales these days among masses. CL is where I think you find deals. If you can learn to spot scams like what I’ve seen you guys mention tonight.

messed up foot this past weekend and it’s slowly doing something. Hopefully getting better. Foot shifter has been whacked a bit since I got it on the road. Found out it isn’t factory. Folding one off motorcycle. Pins were wore out and made part foot contacted loose. inspecting RMATV I realized Foreman’s is a solid piece. Put one on order along with a shifter extension(15” moose). Really like both. Foot is thanking me(and wife will let me ride atv while foot heals) shifter extension fits perfect with plastic. Had to persuade it outboard a bit but it’s just the right length.

As those in chat know. I intend to put my 450 to work. Picked up a 40 dollar blade this morning. Light enough to not beat up front end but heavy enough for snow and light loose dirt leveling. Has mount beam that sits nicely under engine. Just gotta figure out a mount. and remember how to use my welder. the latter is likely the challenge.

There’s a Foreman for 800 my friend looked at. Yellow with snow blade. Newer than mine. Sweet deal. But unfortunately they had to relocate to Idaho. Never fear though for 800. It includes delivery and just send them the cash.
