  1. Welcome from Southern Indiana! I am on my phone So not easy to paste but if you go to the General Chat forum section and look at my ATVs in Indiana thread Shade posted a TRX300FW for sale in Louisville area. I think it was 1800. I want to get another for my 15 yr old as my 450 is pretty big but not right now. The guys all say that size would be perfect for her. Get you a foot shift to play around with too on the side. anyway. Welcome!

    Barn find...

    You guys see this? https://barnfinds.com/crate-find-never-opened-1986-honda-fourtrax/
  3. Welcome to the merry band of misfits! Your pic isn't appearing.(you can directly upload pics here. By far the nicest forum I'm a member of). You found the best website for technical help you can find for Hondas. For OEM parts I go to Rocky Mountain ATV....for used parts I use Powersportsnation or ebay.
  4. If I was actually shopping I'd have driven down today and looked at it. It does look very nice.
  5. It’s not as overpriced as I thought then. that 300 is close.
  6. Nice. Looking forward to watching the project
  7. i can. One was around Lexington somewhere.
  8. Dunno...and i suspect unless he talked him way down he won't tell me.
  9. Nah.... He did have a 3 point finish mower I thought about picking up for cheap and converting it to a pull behind...but he wanted gold for it so I didn't even drive over.
  10. I'm not sure what he's going to end up doing. Its not for me. I did find 2 300's within driving distance last night for less than a grand...but I have to wait for another few months until the last Honda I fixed up dies from my wife's brain.
  11. Lol. Friend may end up with Suzuki
  12. Friend is looking at it now I guess. He said its a 250 Suzuki. Middle one is a polaris. They want 500 for one on right. 600 for Polaris in middle. This farm/sale is like at the end of his road...so short drive.
  13. Friend inquired. They said 500 needs front shaft and carb work
  14. Middle one looks like a Yamaha of some sort. Anyone have any guesses on what they are? Left one looks China Tao Tao maybe.
  15. On a side note. LEDs on my 450 are awesome to increase sight. Headlight is dim in comparison. Will be well worth it for you. For wiring and current draw...my guess is maybe have small ones on hi beam switched then use big light bar sparingly on sep switch.
  16. Main issue with needing a relay is it takes the heavy amp load out of the toggle switch and it keeps it from melting down(or the high beam switch). Just something to keep an eye out for. I do it on cars...but I don't know with the fact your system was likely designed with old school lights in mind), ..but I don't think I'd want all those lights running through a single switch. You could find out how many watts the original lights they powered were and then make sure your LEDs don't pull any more power than that. Looks like my low beam is 45 W and the headlights are 50W between them. NOt sure what high beam would be on the headlight...
  17. Welcome! I had a fuel filter in an old carburetor'd truck one time that plugged up with debris from the tank. It would bog down, lose power, I'd pull over. Shut it off, Sit there stressing on side of interstate(happened in Chicago and I was a 20 yr old college kid from the country). After a few minutes it'd fire back up and run fine for a while. Then act up again. Limped it back to my brother who was/is a mechanic. He pulled the fuel filter out of the carb. Cut it open. Completely caked with crap. Put bigger filter inline and never had another problem(also likely had washed crap out of tank by that point). Anyway, Melatav may be on to something. Would be worth a look anyway if that screen is caked full of gunk. Might be worth a tank flush and a check. Could very well be ignition or something else...but filters can plug/unplug. Another thought. If its flooding with fuel it could be debris getting in to carb float from tank.
  18. Hope all is well koolaid. Take care of what's important. Good luck!
  19. It’s a jab at Shade. He likes to poke at my China brakes. I’m poking back
  20. Just thought about it. Just flipping hubs side to side would correct it. I’ll do that in a couple weeks when I replace pads the first time. in the end they stop great which is what I wanted.
