  1. Do you sill have the old connector? The dual main fuses makes me think you received a Foreman wiring harness. I'm not sure if the wiring goes into the same places in the connector as the Rancher, I've never had a need to compare them. All it would take is a couple wires/pins to be flip flopped in the connector to cause issues.
  2. Code 18 is EPS ECU internal circuit issue (there are 6 different 18 codes it could be) and code 22 is failure to initialize the torque sensor. The code 18 could have tripped that one when trying to erase the codes. Do you still have the part number for the harness you put on new?
  3. The 18112.. Is that 1 solid blink, 8 short blinks, 1 solid blink, 1 solid blink and 2 short blinks?
  4. I've been doing it long enough I have a pretty good rep. People will drive a couple hundred miles to drop off machines both at the buisness and my home shop. 30 some years now and I'm still learning. Sorry for taking it off topic shadetree, I just wanted to share the missed deal.

    Found it!

Welcome to the forum. It's not just one forum they ruined to bring us here.
  6. I figured I would see it. It has a stuck/bent intake valve. Inside of the motor looks like new so I'm just doing a simple top end overhaul to get him going.
  7. Topics have been unpinned so you shouldn't have that issue anymore. We added links to the menu to replace the pinned topics for the time being.
  8. How to remove pistons from front brake wheel cylinders (by shadetree) Front output shaft seal replacement (by toodeep) Bearing part numbers (by jeepwm69)

    Plow talk

This is what my main road to get to town looked like. My 2 other routes out looked about the same and the last one was iffy at best but passable. Without being able to see the damage to the roads from the flooding I used the sxs to clear paths (one neighbor has a nurse that comes out daily to help them). The pictures don't really show the chunks of ice very well but they was big enough and heavy. Another spot a couple miles away by the family farm.

    Plow talk

I do have a tractor/loader but the sxs is faster as long as it's not too deep. This blade took a lot of abuse last year. Mid March we had plenty of snow on the ground and had a 3 day melt. Day 4 it started raining and the floods started. That night everything started turning back to ice and snow. It was a mess. I had to use my poor man press but I got everything straight again and welded up. I'm guessing that piece got weak during all the abuse and just finally failed. The metal they use today is just junk. All the holes with a pin or pivot bolt is worn and everything is loose.
  11. I agree, disk brakes are way better. If they are not mud machines the drums can work good. I have some that come in that look like new yet on the inside and they are 20 years old. I just worked on a 84 trx200 and the brakes still had the shine on the inside, the outer of the machine not so much.
  12. It was red (there are a lot of blue ones in this area) but fenders looked all intact with no breaks. Wheels looked in good condition and you could still see the tips on the tires. I have 3 very rough ones I planned on making into one, with this one I could have made 2. Mist likely I'll see it in a few weeks to get an estimate on making it run.

    Plow talk

I've been bragging on Moose plows for years and have had good luck with them on the 4 wheeler. I went bigger and put it on a bigger machine (my bigred) and the Moose just isnt stout enough. What all different plows has everyone tried, especially one a sxs? I'm thinking of trying the Denali pro next. I'm on my 3rd season with my current moose. I thought I had it fixed enough to get through the season. The first real push proved me wrong. Good thing I still have my 60 inch to take parts off of.
  14. I just seen an 87 (I'm guessing) on FB today in my area. They was selling the tires (pretty much brand new bear claws) for $200 and the complete machine attached to them was thrown in (bad motor). Needless to say, it was sold before I could get a message sent.
  15. Someone in the past did that on a 2x4. I can't remeber who though or what he got out of it for speed. He even had duals built for it.
  16. I use to have an old master cylinder rigged up to force them out using brake fluid. The grease would work a lot better when the seals are out.
  17. I had to switch to the view you guys are using. I didn't notice the stickies using the view I was. We'll get that fixed or at least down to just 1 to pass by for the time being.
  18. I have no issues navigating and posting from my mobile. We are suppose to get updated versions in the future that will make it even more mobile friendly.
  19. They have resistance. They will pull but if your using a tire machine and hit slick surfaces I'm going to guess your going to loose traction, another track machine or heavy sxs would be a different story. I've never tried it personally so I cant say for sure but I don't push the machines around in the shop. We have 2 Rincons and a Rubicon on tracks in our family (Camso if your wondering). I've used the J wheels on mine as well in the snow.
  20. That storm killed a lot of cattle. I think we sold a dozen track kits after that one. No one could get out and see the damage and start a clean up without them. We have a lot of customers from that area.
  21. @SamUK post some pics/details and let's see if we can give to a rough idea of what it might bring, both hoarder (some will understand that) and user prices. If everything looks good and it might bring decent money you can start over and we can hide this thread. I can link it to potential buyers and possibly new members on FB. I'm just trying to help you out but if you have someone here wanting it and will use it I prefer things be done that way.
  22. I can about imagine what he did and there would have been a couple ways to do it depending on the layout of parking spaces. Either run the cord over to a junction and drop the 5 leads down or run the cord the length and have 5 different junctions tapped into it at various locations dropping down. Each battery could be individually charged if just one was plugged in or the group would be maintained with them all fully charged and plugged in. Only question is, what color of extension cord.. lol
