  1. Kill switch checked? That's a very important step on these older machines.
  2. You can use the editor to do a lot of different things.
  3. The oil light is a temp light, not pressure. That could be as simple as the wire coming unhooked under the little black cover next to the right (got it correct this time.) foot peg. Do you notice any sparks when hooking up the battery cable?
  4. I think I did a coke/honey glaze on that one but can't remember for sure. I try something different all the time and then forget the one I really like.. lol That coke in the pic is a filler for the Morgan..😁
  5. This weekend I plan on throwing some ribs and chickens on the smoker. I'm a bad one about taking pictures and usually use snap chat when teasing friends about eats. I did find a few from past cooks, nothing like some homemade bacon and smoked ham.
  6. bcsman I try to use all 3 at various times to compare them. I have a terrible internet provider and even worse Verizon when on the go, speeds have been great for me.
  7. Happy thanksgiving everyone. I'm not one that enjoys the holidays (run from here to there and just want to be home) but it works out. We will have snow, more snow, then rain and then more snow so it might be an interesting holiday. Then we have friendsgiving this weekend that is a whole lot funner. Going to fire up the smoker and make some eats. We need to get a food thread going.. lol
  8. If the oil sensor wire is unplugged and you still have a light the sensor isn't that problem. Something else is giving a ground signal. I will have to look at a wiring diagram to see if there are any connections between the cdi and alarm unit but there shouldn't be any beside power. Did the numbers on the cdi match the numbers on the old cdi or did you check the part number to make sure the correct one was sent?
  9. Your doing it right to compete the circuit and meter the amps being drawn. The most logical thing hooked to the battery besides the key switch is the regulator so that's what I would disconnect first. Connector is right in front of the battery so it should be the easiest. It might just be moisture in that connector giving issues.
  10. With your meter hooked up showing a draw just unplug a few things and see if it goes away. There isn't much on the 300 system so it should be easy to trace down.
  11. i would unplug the regulator/rectifier and see if it still has a draw. Did you test with a meter to verify a draw?
  12. How long does it take it to drain the battery? Shade took care of my next question.
  13. A removable "hitch bar" would be the way to go so it will be short enough to haul but still long enough to maneuver easily when in use. You could make it fold down or a receiver style where it can be removed all together. If room is tight you could make pockets on the flat bed part and have the sides, front and rear sit into place and be removeable. That would give you the option to use it as a flat bed as well for large things.
  14. They do have really easy power steering though. If I owned one I would want it adjustable like I think can am does. Jumped on my buddies 1000 sportsman and it feels like your just too disconnected when having that much power under you.
  15. I don't think that is active. there is a member staff section to discuss changes that might be wanted or needed. After a few read this I will move this thread to that area so it can be discussed.
  16. Welcome to the forum Pat. I've always liked the cosmic gray.
