IDK about Badlands but the freewheel select knob in the Warn doesn’t stick out like the selector on the KFI. The KFI selector (when in freewheeled position) touches the bottom surface of the fender

I have a 1000lbs trailer for my diesel Mule. it has a 2 inch receiver hitch at the front of the bed—it accepts a removable towbar. since the towbar is too short to allow me to turn the Mule with only the towbar attached, i bought a towbar extension. hopefully this will help you decide

@superrman77i have an OEM exhaust on 1 86 and Cobra on the other. I can’t tell the difference in sound. The Cobra is a glass-pack Have you replaced the packing? try that—remove the screw holding the baffle and slide it out—my guess is packing is loose or gone

I have one looks just like that—a mitsuba sm-8. I took it to a battery/starter shop and had the armature “lathed.” It turns backward now. I’ve heard the polarity of the magnets can be changed but i have to wonder if I’m not assembling correctly

I used to have one just like it—with a 6 inch fork extension! LMK when you get ready to sell it. it looks amazing. i also had a 79 CB650 which was my favoritist bike ever; until i got my Road King.

Somebody told me they did it for two hours and it worked; i figure three hours for complete heating ought to be the minimum and can’t think of a good reason to go longer than that. You’re only trying to drive off excess humidity that might affect circuit performance. Besides if you leave it in there too long, you’ll forget about it and someone will smoke check it when they try baking a meat loaf or some other hot dish.😂 would be good to put them on a layered piece of foil — protect those wires.

Thanks for inviting me to this new site. I have been addicted to the Fourtrax Honda TRX350A for about 10 years. I’ve also resurrected a TRX300FW, which was a great pleasure and success. Diehard stocker; i stick with OEM parts and configurations. Quite a bit of experience in electro-mechanical but no expert. I can do a little bit of everything except weld; never done that. Never disassembled an engine; maybe my next project. So I’ll be interested in seeing projects by other members, particularly engine and electrical repairs. i always have something cooking or brewing; got a little grill/smoker library and brew/keg my own beer. I hunt, fish, love my family and give thanks for my condition.

try reviving your old one by drying it out in an oven—like you’re making jerky. I’ve revived two FCU and a CDI this way and heard of several others having success. You can make this FCU your spare if you want. Oven should be 200F or less; drying time at least 3 hours; let cool completely before reinstalling. Because you have exposed wires on this module, try and protect those wires from direct contact with oven rack.
