  4. well...... i can thank this one femal for my extra high jiuce bill.....so i can relate, to what your saying there bro.
  5. tobacco juice is said to draw the toxins out, i always keep a pouch ready just in case, you said small hornets but the only one i know of having a stinger that long would be the Asian giant hornet one of the largest hornets in the world, and yep, they are here in the states now..... destroying the honey bee population..... and they are a ground hornet, I've seen them many times in hay fields around my area, but there not very aggressive, not like the little ones are.
  6. any chance of you getting some of the extra wood, in that deal ? IF YOU NEED IT ? that would be the perfect deal, if it's not too far to haul it over rough ground.
  7. oh a crop field is the best way to attract them.... a combine will not catch every single harvested grain morsal, plus the scent of the harvested grain / dust et, and machine noise will draw them critters in, just like any other animal they get used to certain things, just like a dinner bell is used.
  8. depends on what type of hornet your talking there are so many species, that nest in the ground. and yes gas would take care them quick, but some hives have multiple tunnels for going in and out of the hive, the best time to go looking for them if you choose to is at night, never in the day time.
  9. it would have not smoke the tire as much as it would have the clutch while you up there pushing dirt on an angle, post pics of the clutch linkage, and where you were, and and how much the tires (rear dug in while spinning) but from what little i have to go on you smoked the clutch, and shouldn't use the tractor again till you get this adjusted IF it can be. you should have felt the rear tire cleat vibration while spinning /digging via the foot rest, IF you were on solid ground, or smelled rubber if the tire spun long enough..... if you put the tractor in gear, now! and let out on the clutch .. what happens ?
  10. mine are clean, both the evap, and condensor, and hot water furness coil new intake filter, and plenty of air flow like i said before, i located the issue.... the house wasn't sealed up because doors were left open, and a cooling system isn't designed for cooling the outdoors....

least you got the rain need jeep...(thumbs up) . i recall back years ago.... when it was so hot and dry here, a man could cut (what there was) hay in the am, and rake / role the same hay in the evening, and fires broke out everywhere, that year we wetted down hay rollers and equiptment at the end of the day, and waited around for a time after shut down, now those were bad times. farmers were even having to haul water to live stock. a good friend of mine was trampled watering his cattle, and crops never did turn out, but that was an exceptional long dry hot season, the likes of we haven't seen again.
