  1. standard for mine is 3/4 cup Martha white corn meal, 1 cup cup milk (purity red cap milk) (i use milk from toombs dairy) one egg 1 table spoon of sugar << (optional) ...whisk well ... pour into a oiled pre heated iron skillet. bake at 450 for around 20 minutes, but you can adjust the mixture, for a thin pan 1/2 cup mix, 1 cup of milk, i don't use flour ... never have ...

  6. my bad.... i forgot that part, I'll tell you this, I'm impressed, and your getting hands on at doing the mechanical yourself, along with tech / advise help from the guys, hang in there! yes, it's very true some dont read every thread..... but most of us do, or try to.

  9. it's kind of hard to keep up with all this, with so many post ... try and put more information in one post ... multi short post on a issues doesn't really work too good. and like mentioned a history of this bike would come in very handy, but.... so far .. steering stem bearing brake issues, dash issues .. would make me think this bike was not very well taken care of at all, mods include a winch in the front, and back, a front disk conversion, so yes, my thinking is this bike has had a rough life, but hang in there.

    Weather

i hear ya, fish, it's been odd to say the least now the temp is 50, with a west wind 10-20 mph blowing, kind of has me wandering what in the world spring, and summer will be like, if we have one. there have been some plus sides, farmers aren't feeding much so far, which leads to lower farm operation cost, less fuel, equiptment repairs, hay stored for next year, it's sure not going to help cattle prices.

  13. going back a tad on the tread, here's kind of the same setup i did (older pic) as fish had, as a matter of fact, fishs mod is where i got this idea from, but after i stalled the cmp bumper (changed the high due to the lights) i took the plate off the project 300, might add it to the 97.
