  1. they may have not been yrs ago ?..lol. but i know i still have them in my '89 trx350D, and so far, so good..i'd buy boss before pivot works any day !..lol. but oem is best for sure !.
  2. mistake !..lol. those are china bearings, i would have went with oem, or boss bearings.
  3. right pic is off, please remember..he did this like 5-6 times ?, lol.
  4. least i can do to keep a classic on the trails !..lol. some day, some where, some one, will come to my rescue !..lol.
  5. only other thing that could be wrong ?, is some how the clutch disk and plates got messed up when he knocked the cover off ?, but i have never seen this done simply by removing the clutch cover ?. i wish he could get this to me, i'd have it fixed in no time, and he could be headed back home to TN with a running trx300 !..lol.
  6. too anyone watching this thread ?, here is some pics of kool's trx300 clutch , at our last attempt sat night, as you ( or at least me ? ) can see that the clutch arm is suppose to be pointing right at the dead center of the lifter plate ?, but its not !.
  7. you will also need the mounting hardware to attach the plow tubes to the frame, the pull stick if you are not gonna use a winch to lower and lift , other than these parts ?, i have no clue ?..i play in snow..i dont work in it !..lol.
  8. haha..yeah..i understand..we welcome questions...just ask them in the correct spot !..lol.
  9. ok, found them !, i will send both plug sizes just incase i am wrong on the size ? ( hey..even pro's make mistakes !..lol ).
  10. i also think i have some drum plugs some where ?, will toss those in the box as well when i locate this clutch bearing :-).
  11. pretty sure i have a one-way clutch bearing stashed some where in my '' honey hole '' stash ?..i will have to locate it, i will touch base with ya in a PM.
  12. thank you for posting your own thread :-). as i said in other thread, just tear the rear diff down, have a look, see what all is bad ?, if anything is tore up ?, bad bearings ?, seals ?, you deff will see it and feel it when you open up the rear diff cases :-).
  13. its pretty simple, bracket, tube sticks out sideways, gun holder clamps u-bolt to the tube, just like they make them today, just not as pretty or fancy back then.
  14. i don't know why the other mod's let you post in another members thread for a different reason ?, all your doing is confusing the OP and others, please start a thread on your atv problem in the utility section. but to answer your question ?, you need to tear the rear end down, and start looking for damaged bearings, ring and pinion gear teeth damage, collar damage, everything !. don't GUESS ?!..tear down, then look to see what all you need to replace ?..then order...WAIT for parts...fix it :-).
  15. well, it prob wasn't for 3 wheelers...30 something yrs ago ??!...lol.
  16. you are very welcome bro...glad to help a member out !. i can't turn down some one in trouble ?!..lol. keep us up to date on how she runs ?!!!.
  17. i'll tell you why..from looking at the scoring on that wrist pin and the top of the connecting rod ?, this tells me the crank ran without oil ( which all of us can clearly tell from the pics ), which means it under went a great deal of heat and stress. seeing the damage so far...there is no way your going to get by putting it back together without splitting cases, replacing crank?rod ?, without it going down in a short time. oh400ex is correct, in my 29 yrs of doing atv repair, i have been down that '' i just wanna ride now '' thinking, and skip all the paying money and time for new parts, its your atv, your time, your money !, but if you come here asking for help, and do not want to listen to great, CORRECT ADVISE ?, well then, you are wasting your's and ours time. do it right, or don't do it at all.
  18. haha...shoot..if i did not have bad luck ?, i would not have any luck at all !...sooo..i just roll with it !.
  19. there's a sucker born every min too !..lol.
  20. dang bro...i hate to tell you this...but....that engine needs to be split, gone through, cleaned/flushed out really well, a new crank, and lord knows what all else parts it will need ?. i have no idea what those two parts are ?, but they sure look like something broke loose inside that engine if they came from it ?. but i do not recall what it would be from ?, like you said...it may not have came out of this engine ??.
  21. air in the line ?, master cylinder piston bad ?. calipers seized ?. any one of these problems. i would start by bleeding the brakes before you start tearing into it !.
  22. call me 501-247-6418

  23. go to harbor freight, they sell a zerk kit that has a bunch of different sizes in the kit.
  24. nope, wont fit..these drums use a larger than normal plug.
  25. does not matter what rear axle you use ?, AS LONG AS THE HUB SPLINES ARE MATCHED !. in other words, the hub splines have a short version at the axle, and a long version at the axle. use either one you want, but make sure the hubs are the correct length !.
