update: a few more things done today. front rack. rear rack, rear swing arm with new bushings and rubber hold downs. rear grab bar installed. a few more small items, then i will slap the tires on it, then put it up for sale. i'd like to get $ 2,200.00 cash for it.

reagardless...no atv made today can take the abuse old atvs like my '89 trx350D can take !..lol. machines made today are made cheaper from cheaper plastics, racks are thinner, wiring is thinner, just all around made cheaper with a jacked up price tag !..lol. even the motors do not last as long as they did when they were built 30 yrs ago, too prove my point..my '89 trx350D has been rebuilt by me over 10 years ago, still runs like it did the day i rebuilt it, and prob better than the day it did when it rolled off the assembly line ?..lol. todays products just suck in workmanship !.

it's a win or lose now on seals from honda, you may or may not get seals made in japan ?. honda has been out sourcing parts lately, they might be made in japan ?, or they might be made in china ?. but seeing how your making a big order from rocky mountain atv, i would just risk it, and buy everything from them.

not much for auto's ?, but my first thought is when you say it worked fine UNTIL you swapped over to another frame ?. when you did this...did you also swap out the wire harness as well ?. if not ?, then this is your problem so far.

haha...can't wait until you bring me all that mess, and have me build you a running engine !!..lol.

small update: spent a few hours on this ole gal today, made a tiny bit of progress, mocked up the rear fender, front fender, got front bumper cleaned and painted, front skid plate painted, and a few small parts painted. was able to run it a bit today ( fish got to hear her crank and run ! ), needed to see if my muffler fix was gonna work ?, so far seems too be holding !. got the battery installed, all the wire harness cleaned up as well. front lights work. ran new rear brake cable to rear brake. bunch of tid-bit stuff here and there. here's some progress pic's for all you atv pic perv's !. sorry its been so long sense last update ?, but i needed to take a break and enjoy some lake time on my jet ski, finish some cabin work, now i'm back on this old gal trying to finish her up !. yes the fenders are still dirty, but i am not done with them yet.

how ya think i came up with shadetree ?..lol. i used my oak tree in the front yard, my '89 trx350D foreman with its winch, snatch block hanging from a limb to pull my first jet ski engine...see...i did use a tree ?, but i used the easy way to work that engine out of the body of that jet ski !..smarter bro...not harder !..lol.

haha...i would never..ever...consider myself a pro ?..i do great work..and when i do work ?, i make sure i get it done the best way i know how, and in order to do this ?, i use good tools for the job.

if the rod is good ?, then the only thing left is the bore is not straight. you do not have to pull the flywheel just to see if its hitting anything ?, just pull the cover, then spin it over with the cylinder on, see if it still binds up ?. one thing that comes to mind. when you are spinning it over by hand with the cylinder on, you do know the cylinder wont be straight until the top end is all bolted on...right ?. in other words, the piston will not track straight in the cylinder until its all bolted up. still, the piston still should run up and down in the cylinder very easy without binding up !. this leaves me to think g&h did not bore the cylinder straight ?, or the rod is bent ?.

because it's easier to work smarter...not harder !. with the correct tools ?, our job will be much simpler too get done. in the time it takes you to get all those jack stands under your atv, front and back ?, i can roll my atv lift under my frame, a few pumps on the lever, and she's in the air with all 4 tires off the shop floor. time is money friend !..lol.

or i don't know ?...use a boat instead !..lol.

i turned into a lobster up on heber springs on my jet ski this past sat, temp was suppose to get to 96-97 ?, never got that hot, but it was hot enough from uv rays to cook my butt !..lol. i got my thermostat set to 78 in the house, stays cool i guess ?, would not bother me if it went out..but my sisters would freak the heck out if the air died !..lol.

shesshh...yall's a bunch of wussies when it comes to heat ?!!..lol. i'll take 100 temps, and high humidity any day, does not faze me !. now..when it gets cold ?, then i'm done !..lol.
