nope, as many times as i've had the cowl off ?, i would have seen it there !..lol.

for the past 3 days now, i have been searching for the owners manual for my mercury 25 hp outboard and the safety cord, for the life of me, i can't locate either !!. i did however locate the paper work where i purchased the motor, boat, and trailer back in 3/24/2010. what i found very odd ?, is i seen on the boat trailer purchase, I DID BUY A SPARE TIRE !. where it went ?, i have no clue !!. other than some ones hands maybe a few years back ?!..lol. pretty sure i did not have it locked to the trailer back then when i made a trip to the river at the cabin ?..oh well..crap happens. has spare back on trailer, AND LOCKED ON IT !. so back to the owners manual for my motor. still can not find it ?, decided to just down load it, and print it all out, ( 132 double sided pages !..lol ). now where did i put that dang safety cord ?? ( not that i use it !..lol ). its prob in the same spot my owners manual is ??..rofl.

spent time today down there today, left house here around 5 am, got down there, started mowing yard, 3/4 way through, it started to rain. grrr. said ok, i will install the new toilet for now. got that done, then put insulation around all the pex pipes, used hanger straps to attach the pipes under the floor. got all that done, by that time the rain stopped, finished mowing the yard, packed it all up, came back home. was beat, ate, took a shower, fell asleep, just now woke up. just need to treat the deck with some water treatment, and the outside will be completely done !.

yeah..if i had argon gas..and a shorter cord ?, my beads would look just as good as this ^^^ too !..lol. all i have is flux core wire, long power cord when i welded my 1/4 flat bar. as long as it stays on the trailer bars i welded them too ?, it will work. the main bars are bolted to the frame, they ain't going no where !. ( i hope ?..lol ).

lobes face down, lines on cam sprocket sit horz to head surface. as for the T mark in your pic ^^^ ?, DO NOT LINE THE T MARK !!!, USE THE LINE UNDER THE T MARK !!.

i used flat bar to bolt the main supports to the frame, then used the drops to weld on the sides of the main supports to stiffen them up, may or may not hold on the welds ?, my 110 volt wire welder is not made for 1/4 steel, plus i was running my welder on a 100 ft extension cord !..lol.

i see what looks like a 350 rancher muffler in the mix ?.

i ride alone most times, but before i go anywhere ?, i tell folks where i am going, and when to expect me back ?. if i'm not back at that time ?, come look for me, or send some one to come find me. we all do stupid stuff !, but that does not mean we dont have to keep doing it every day !..lol. i am very careful these days ever sense my motor cycle wreck in '08, i'm too old for wrecks and to broke for hospitals !..lol.

you do not screw the dip stick in, you lay it in the hole, then check it.

i would not own a auto...EVER !..LOL. but..seeing how you say it does not do it when cold ?, this tells me the wrong oil is in the motor. cold oil is thicker, as it warms up, then will slip. just spit ball'n here, but to me i would think the wrong oil is in it.

i say leave it for now, see if it picks up ?, if not ?, dump it. most times i just call whoever i see online anyway..cept the ones WHO WON'T ANSWER THEIR PHONE !..ROFL.

beveled shinny edge top ring, dark wider ring is second ring. top ring with shinny bevel faces up !. stack ring end gap AWAY from next ring !. do not line end gaps up with wrist pin end area !. that letter T tells you they face up.

dang bro, i bet that sucked coming back to nothing but a boat trailer on blocks. that would be something you see in the '' hood '' around these parts..lol. i also have my spare locked to my trailer, trailer locked to ball hitch, hitch locked to truck. i MAKE SURE, that i have the key to it, 4-way lug, jack, all of it. not to worried about thieves where i park at my river, not saying they wont steal anything !!!, but i do trust this area a little. i do not go anywhere long distance ( or even short for that matter ! ) without a spare tire. etrailer shows my tires shipped, also ordered a fuel gauge for my quicksilver 6.6 gal fuel tank, tried a plastic cork to help lift the lever , lets just say plastic corks do not work in gasoline !..lol, melted like hot butter in the tank..lol. weather is still odd here, i'll post up some upgraded pic's of all this when it comes time to get-r-done !.

i've seen this damage many times when a valve drop's. get ready to do a complete engine removal , split, clean/flush.

just ordered two new tires for my boat trailer, was installing guide poles, and noticed the center of the right rear tire tread was cracked !. been sitting for years, came on trailer when i purchased new in 2010. i will post pics of old tires, guide poles, when i install new tires. need to re-pack bearings as well then, may as well do all of this when i change tires. word of caution: PLEASE CHECK YOUR TRAILER TIRES FOR DRY ROT ?, TREAD WEAR ?, AND IF THEY ARE OLDER THAN 5 YEARS ?...REPLACE THEM !!!. ( no i did not have a blow out last sat, and i do not want one !..lol ).

i'm shocked that they were able to replace the valve seats ?, seeing how they are pressed in, and part of the factory head, it seems to me it can't be done. hmmm..can't wait for a follow up months down the road !.

had a wonderful day saturday on the lake, caught 35 bream, lost 3 bass ( sigh )..lol. temp was great all day, light breeze. i need to put me some outrigger guides on my trailer, way to hard to guide my 14ft boat unto my long trailer, all while getting it centered on the runners.

what if we don't know we're a dad ?..rofl. no..really..i could be ?..just never was told i am ??!..lol. regardless, lake has me saturday..gonna have some '' me '' time for once !.

yes it has tilt adjustment, no its not too big for this boat. boat is rated for up to 25 hp.

here's my boat set-up, just pulled it out too give it a pressure wash. 14 ft v-nose weldbuilt, 42 in bottom i think it is ?. bought both motor, trailer same day back in 2010, 4k for motor, about 1200+ for trailer, all paid for in cash.

merc's are everywhere up here in arkansas. take a walk to the boat dock at my cabin, and you will see nothing but merc's lined all down the boats. my only regret was not being able to get a 2-stroke , 25 hp merc , this 4-stroke merc i have is just slower, and a lot heavier than the old 2-strokes.
