  1. calm down bro, its not the end of the world. first off, from reading your post ^^^, to me, this sounds like a simple problem. what you have done is just get the shifting shaft out of alignment is all. so, lets back up a tad, and get you fixed up !. drain the oil back out, pull both the front and rear covers again ( yes..i know..you dont want to, but it must be done !..lol ). on the rear engine cover, there is your gear position switch, it has a tang on the top of it as your looking down on it, notice one end of it is longer than the other side ?. now right under it is the top of the switch that has the letter N stamped on it, turn the gear position switch tang where the longer end is over the letter N. so far..so good !. now check to make sure all shafts, parts are where they are suppose to be before you slide the rear cover back on, MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FORGET ANY AND ALL THRUST WASHERS !!!!. now to the front of engine, after cover is off, check to make sure your shifting shaft is lined up with all punch parts that go to centrifugal clutch, and all parts in this area are put together right ?. put the cover back on, DON'T FILL WITH OIL YET !!. turn key on, if you put the rear back together right ?, you should see neutral on the dash ?. if so ?..GREAT SO FAR !. if you put the front back together right ?, you should now be able to switch gears with the electric shift now ?. if it still does not work ?, bring it down to me here in arkansas, i'll fix it, yu'll spend more in gas than what i'll charge you for labor..i'll bank on this !..lol.
  2. update: was out at my buds place yesterday, was able to locate a muffler !. very end is messed up, but i can fix it !. bottom is not rusted along it, so i'm pretty sure i can salvage it ?. i'll try to post some pics of it later today.
  3. atv's are not as easy to keep in your yard, but a truck/car ?, i got a way of keeping my truck where i park it !. if they can't start it ?, then they can't drive off in it !..lol. atv owners, as well as anything they own !, should be kept under lock and key, camera's, what ever it takes these days ?, TOO KEEP YOUR PROPERTY WHERE YOU PARK IT !. you have to out smart a thief these days, think like one, then you can stop a ton of thefts.
  4. welcome to our forums, and ty 4 the mention !.
  5. before i dig deeper, is this a utility or sport atv ?.
  6. so not only es, but auto too ?..hahaha..junk !.
  7. answer: cuz we're not doing well with china !..lol.

  10. my .02's worth ?, the trx450fm ( if manual shift ? ) will out last the trx650, why ?, cuz the trx650 if this is it ^^ ?, is a stupid es model !..lol.
  11. yep, sad, i've used the '' sixty '' brand 2 times on those trx450fm projects i did awhile back, i know one of them that belongs to my gal's son, so far, he's not had any issues from them !. they are made in china, but still, they seem to be pretty decent axles.
  12. rofl, now thats a walkin fridge !..lol.
  13. now if they just hold up to your rough riding ??..lol.
  14. i know it had it on the old sight we all came from, no biggie. if there is anyone here that wants me to post the over haul of this cabin in this thread ?, i'll post all the pics from start to finish. too all the new members, i completely remodeled the whole outside , roof, and walls all the way around, rebuilt the front porch, added 6x6 beams in spots that were about to fall down.
  15. thank you !, its a home away from home, standing on the ( deck now ) you can see the white river about 300 yards away.
  16. i used truss hangers, seeing how they were out of stair stringer brackets. they are metal brackets that are flat on on end, and have a piece on the bottom that bend, so the bottom of the stringer is at an angle. https://www.lowes.com/pd/USP-1-3-4-in-x-5-1-16-in-18-Gauge-Triple-Zinc-Face-Mount-Joist-Hanger/3375802 . every board was screwed together with exterior wood screws that call for a torx screw bit.
  17. got the top part, and steps done. time for a break now from it.
  18. i tried to tell you, and everyone here...partzilla sucks big green ones now !..lol. ( but they do have a better parts break down though than rocky mountain atv ).
  19. i know i had a thread on the old sight, and thought ?..i had a thread here ?, oh well.
  20. I thought i had a thread here on my cabin remodeling i did last summer ?, but could not find it, anyway, as i promised , i would start in on my front deck, here is a couple pic's i got done yesterday. i was beat, i could hardly move from cramping all over..sucks to be old and disabled i tell ya !. BEFORE you say anything about some of the boards laying on the deck !!!, not all of those in front of the door are cut to length, i just laid the cut-offs from center ones that i had to make longer because right under the door is longer from the front to the door because of the siding. not trying for anything fancy here ?, just wanted some where to grill out, and have a seat in the sun. gonna load up the remaining deck boards here soon, head back down there this morning before the heat gets up !..lol. i tried to load all of the wood in my truck, but it would have been to heavy, and the spec hitch i got for long lumber was like 1 inch off my driveway !..lol. so had to unload some deck boards ( 12 of them ) 5/4x6x12'. my bed was starting to turn into a low rider..lol. my game plan for now is just to get the top part built, then come back later and add the railing. i got some step risers that will go in the very middle of the front of the deck, should get the steps added today. i will post some more pics later today when i get back home.
  21. only loose nuts around here ?...IS US !!..LOL.
  22. where you been these past few months ?, i started a thread back a few, saying watch out, partzilla jacked their prices way up !!.
  23. i have never had good luck with jb weld on oil leaks. i know you wont like my answer ?, but if it were mine, i would just replace that side case with a better one, but good luck trying to locate one that isn't already busted in the same spot !.
  24. haha..400 bucks huh ?, and just how bad do you want to keep from being bored ??. did you check over on power sports nation, and see if they had a used axle ?.
  25. if it broke off, then more than likely its rusted very bad around that area inside, and out. i have never had one break off, but i have seen a ton of them rust out, pin holes, you name it around that threaded part. your best bet is try to jb-weld one back on ?, then use a product called '' seal all '' all around it. other than this ?, that tank is scrap.
