  1. Looks like fun, lots of seat time.
  2. Thanks Bryan....er...balljoints. Glad to have them here free to link.
  3. That big Milwaukee is pretty impressive, I bet performance wise it will do good but I don’t think I’ll be a hot seller at 1200 a battery lol. I seen a guy using a little electric chainsaw one day, used too 18V batteries, the thing was actually pretty impressive for what it was.
  4. I always liked the Makita stuff, actually most of what I have is makita. The grinder is the only dewalt tool I own. I did pick up a little 12v Milwaukee 3/8 ratchet recently and man is that thing ever handy. I too prefer battery op tools for most things.
  5. Nice ride, she's in good shape.

Nice day here today, started off cold but warmed up. No wind, which is nice for a change. supposed to be a lot of rain coming tomorrow and thursday. Bummer. There was a time in my life I used to love rain, meant more mud on the trails lol. Those days are behind me haha.
  7. Looks good. How do you like the 60v grinder? I got one for christmas last year and I love the thing. If they weren't so expensive I think I'd toss the rest of my corded grinders and buy more of the 60v ones lol
  8. Has anyone spoke with Bryan at HAF? He has the google drive with all the files I think. That is if you're concerned with stepping on toes.
  9. I'd like to ride mine, that would be great lol. Have to rebuild the starter on it, might fix the hand warmers since it's coming into winter.
  10. Yes like that. Still with the big rubber band on the DGL, still with the little Detroit Locker by Highlifter decal in the box, still with the little bottle of friction modifier that smells like cat ! still in the box.....lol
  11. DGL has clutch disks in it yes. To me a DGL is worth more NOS in the box. Functionally these torq lockers are superior and if I was to run either in a machine my choice would be the torq locker.
  12. Up here typically when they draft up a plan of your property, it won’t show coordinates of each marker, but it will show it tied to a known point or 2 with coordinates on them. So somebody that knows what they are doing can calc through it and get the corner coordinates. Again, I’ve never surveyed in the US, so I don’t know if that’s how it is there or what. But if it is and you need someone to calc through the plan to get you coordinates let me know.
  13. I think you’d have a tough time. A lot of the non morons came from the HL forums back in the day, when the bottom fell out of that they moved to Facebook, or maybe they moved to Facebook first then the bottom fell out of it I’m not sure lol. Anyway, most are content where they are and have little interest in forums anymore. You could always post a link to the site in the group but you’d have to expect some amount of morons to trickle though also haha.

Autumn is my favourite time of year, but this year it seems to have been skipped over. It was like flipping a switch, warm t shirt weather one day, then freezing cold the next and hasn't been nice since.

Windy here all day, right around freezing. Rain, freezing rain, wet snow. Never made anything but a miserable old day none the less. More wind tomorrow.
  16. Yep and Jim is a straight up guy as far as I know. I’d do business with him.
  17. That’s why they recommend a mile interval AND and hour interval whatever comes first.
  18. Maybe we should start a new thread about the wonders of the boreal forest instead of hijacking this thread hahaha
  19. I should have guessed net wrap, not like I don’t see it every day lol. I don’t see it wrapped around axles though haha.
  20. Like wheeler said, grows on trees lol. I’ve never seen it wrapped around an axle but it is what it looks like haha
  21. At least with the Outlaws your starting off with 1.5” of lug so it takes awhile to wear them out lol. I know with the last set of 31’s I ran they had about 2400km (1500 miles) on them when I sold them, they were still 75% or better.
  22. So they are still new then lol. Honda recommends oil changes every 600 miles, if your having to change tires at the same interval you might want to look at something else. Even the worst aftermarket tires should last a few thousand miles I would think. Mud Lite AT’s don’t have much lug to start with (maybe 3/4”?) and they don’t seem to suffer from the same flaw as the XL’s do. The XL’s I’ve found will wear the wide part of the V lug first, then tear off the tips, the tire basically tears itself apart with quite a bit of lug remaining. But the AT’s will wear bald before they do that.
  23. I’d stick with the 355 or look at other big bore options, I would not buy a 380 kit personally. @_Randolph_ has one you can ask him about it. To be be perfectly honest I like the size of the 355 bore, I might consider a small stroker if it were me, +4mm maybe, That would be 376cc at your current bore. Or maybe a 350D crank and run a custom rod on it to fit your current top end. That would be around 368cc, small bump but good bang for your buck.
