  1. Got some goodies in the mail, waiting on the timing chain and lapping tool.
  2. Wow this thread went of the rails. Sorry Pip.
  3. Im not sure if its China, or South Korea, but one of those countries made stock piling supplies illegal. Stock piling for profit, so warehousing supplies.
  4. 11$ plus 21$ shipping , I have the discount code too, but even then 8$ and free shipping is impossible to get close to.
  5. Been waiting for my valve lapping tool for two months now. Sometimes things take a long time to get here, but on my ebay account it said things are being delayed. I'm afraid to make any more purchases from ebay sellers in china now. I have a 350 big bear that I recovered. Want to see if it will run. An ignition switch on ebay for 8$ canadian, and free shipping. But its coming from china, so no longer sure if I should jump on it or not.
  6. Im going to do this as soon as I get a spare.
  7. Im not sure if that would speed things up, lol. If I was to start digging around, a metal detector would help. But I've got a pretty big area that I covered between the time I thought I put it securely in my pocket, and the time I realized it was no longer in my pocket. Took a tour in my backyard with a skidoo. Best thing to do is to wait for some spring weather, then the junk and garbage and lost items start popping up ontop of the snow. In the mean time, my spare is worth more than its weight in gold. And I have to live with the stress of a key floating around outside somewhere.
  8. Really sad day. Lost a key. No idea where. Having my spare mailed to me by my parents. Super bummed. In a snow bank near the house some where, most likely. !.
  9. Welcome! I have a 2016 rubicon in red. Will be following for info on our model. Can't say I've had the same issue, can you cycle through gears regardless of the lack of indicator?
  10. Thank you for a thorough, detailed, honest no bullsh*t reply. Every time I go into an auto store I always keep an eye out for assembly lube. I've watched a lot of youtubers use it. Can never find any. Knowing you don't use any, ever, makes the job easier. I'm about to dig deeper into the motor this weekend to get to the cam chain. Not just a stem seal and valve lap job anymore. Want this 300 running mint when I'm done.
  11. If you don't have any engine assembly lube to use, whats the next best thing?

  13. its fun to see the progress, and treasures. Expecially the treasures.
  14. I've never measured it, but I think my shed is 10x10. Need to do a little but of insulating yet. The -30F days are no fun to fiddle around.
  15. Jeep, its time for some more pics of the shop. 😂
  16. Well, I've enjoyed watching the build come along, the progress of the work, and the learning along the way. Its really too bad things slow down and stall when you hand it over to 'shops'. It probably has something to do with the age of the machine. A shop will be ready and willing to work on new ones, not as much wrong, easier to work on, not a rabbit hole of problem after problem. I really feel for you. Time to 're-take' matters into your own hands I'd say. This kind of stuff has happened to me before, and is happening to me now. Problem is, sometimes, we really have no choice but to wait and twiddle our thumbs. Still waiting on some machine/jug work.
  17. Whats the fix? Just make oil changes abit more frequently, hoping nothing plugs up?
  18. Literally combing through PSN and see another bolt lot with a center cap facing away, looks like the polaris one I have
