2 pointsWe ride all the trails. We both have Trx420 's, with wheel spacers and twist throttle conversions . Manuel shift solid axle. 3.25 lbs in tires make a plush ride. Yes we ride black bear. Just zig zag thru town to Imogene pass.

2 pointsyou wont be able to save those valves, pitted way to bad. by the time you get them lapped down to a sealing surface ?, there wont be any metal left to hold up to it running.

2 pointsso far i got my riding mower up and running, both my motorcycles up and running, got my jet ski running ( it was just a bad battery ), still need to get the battery charged or changed in my '89 trx350D, and need to do some front brake work on my magna bike. most of this was from bad batteries !, thanks to the battery tender jr's letting me down ?!..lol. after getting my shadow spirit going again, i've been out cruising the roads lately. i've been really, REALY BUSY LATELY, get time, have a look at all the progress i made on my cabin post on the forums here !.

2 pointsI shot my 12 gauge home defense with some 2 3/4 duck steel shot , then with 3 inch mag 000 buck , need to hold on with two hands with the buckshot , I let my buddy shot it and he did a one hand shot like a pistol with buckshot and said he hurt his wrist pretty good , I chickened out trying it one handed after watching him on video shooting it in slow motion and it is a flame thrower with the buckshot , even with a 18.5 inch barrel at 25 ft it holds a tight pattern with the 3 inch buckshot 000 10 pellets , a lot tighter pattern than I would have thought , and I find it shots a little higher than I would have thought shooting from the hip

1 pointHarbor Freight BadLands Winch can start an argument round these parts , LOL --- I ain't going to lie , I have bought one before on sale for $49.99 , it lasted a while , when I needed it was when it didn't work , in other words it broke while it was parked , I think me going under water with it shortened it's life ----- Warn is one of the best names in winches for years , every winch I have had on a truck was Warn ------- on my atvs I have 3 SuperWinchs and the rest are Warns , SuperWinch is what I would recommend , 2 on my atv winches are SuperWinchs taken off my shrimp boat when I retired from shrimping and I would guess they are 20 years old and still going , those winches made many cycles lifting the skimmer nets up and down , and are now on the atv and have been used quite a few times , when you go in the commercial marine supply stores around here looking for a 12 volt cable winch , SuperWinch is what they sell ----- KFI is my favorite control solenoids

1 pointI feel the wrist pain!! Years ago I shot my Mossberg 835 Ultimate-Mag one handed. Ya it will twist ur wrist for sure!!! I’m smarter now, so no more foolishness for me doing that kinda stuff lol
-
1 pointNever heard of one. But I assume it’s similar to the tip cleaners for cutting torches..
-
1 pointI put the winch in this link on my my foreman. $119 with a coupon I found online. https://www.harborfreight.com/3500-lb-atvpowersport-12v-winch-with-automatic-load-holding-brake-56259.html

1 pointUghhh!!!! Was 48 here lastnight Makes for some great sleeping with the windows open. It's been mid nineties here but cools down nicely at night. That humidity would kill me! Love the mountain air!

1 pointOne part is definitely a lot worse than the other parts. It's got pitting all the around, just some bits worse than others....

1 pointI'd say that looks bad ---- How's about a pic of the head and a pic the valve stem it's self , looks like a lot of wear on it
-
1 pointno,no, you count when you see the flash ... then listen for the clap, that doesn't give you a distance the storm is, but rather the the distance of the bolt of lightening bolt.... light is about 186.000 miles a sec, sound is about 700-800 feet a sec.
-
1 pointYeah we have our issues of forest fires around our area too. Stinkin tree huggers blocking the forest management make me wanna puke. Not saying they should go in and clear cut everything but boy I'll tell you what, the areas that they have are beautiful healthy forests there now. They won't allow any logging companies to come in and do anything anymore even if it means keeping the forest safe and managing the deadfall. Things are drying out but I don't think we're gonna have to bad of fire season this year.

1 pointpay not attention to the kaw part ?. all these winches will bolt right up to the KFI mounting plate --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-MULE-PRO-MX-2019-WARN-Pro-Vantage-3500S-Winch-99994-1258/164269160219?epid=20024366182&hash=item263f34771b:g:AkgAAOSwx85e-xV- .

1 pointyou sure got that right !, i've spent the last couple weeks fixing all my toys that have been sitting for 2 yrs !..lol.
-
1 pointGo ahead and get them listed now while the summer crowd is still interested. Take that money and get an heirloom quad instead imo. Three Honda bikes your grandkids can ride or three money pits I may be bitter from working on them... Beautiful ride that I'm sure is fun on any machine! oh400ex
-
1 pointHey at least my machines are getting used!!!!! Like I said, anything lasts forever when you don't use it.

1 pointYes it is, we are pretty lucky to live here,, even if we have a bunch of yayhoos moving in here cluttering it up. LOL. Never get enough of getting out on our trails. Finding that riding them different times of the day changes the appearance of the scenery so much. The remodel is finally coming together and we can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I have another week or so on the siding getting everything caulked and touched up then will install the tongue in groove in the porch soffet. A lot of finish detail inside and out. Never realized how much work board and batten siding is, especially in a place thatbis as cut up as this one. Thanks for the comments guys. Appreciate it.

1 pointEnded up picking up a Savage Axis Sporter .223 and a Leupold Freedon .223 MIL TMR Reticle scope for it. I wanted a 50mm scope for it but the one I picked out was out of stock. He found this one and decided to go with it. Hope it will be here this weekend or next week. Took about a month from Ruger to get another mag for my LCPII. Heck I could of driven there and back in a day. They are a North Carolina based business. Never knew that until I bought my LCP. On the lookout for a revolver now. I had looked and the Remington 783 but the reviews I read were less than par.

1 pointSo that hurricane that no one is sure how to pronounce, came and went. But today, we had more rain and man it came in quick. I am 100% sure that a tornado was over or very close to our shop today. The way the rain was coming in sideways to the shop was crazy! Couldn't get one door down because the rain was messing up the door sensor so it kept trying to go back up when you let off the close button.
-
1 pointReally enjoy all the photos. That definitely is "God's Country"! Now that remodel project is fantastic!
-
1 pointwow! wheeler, you sure didnt let it slow you down much..... so no surgery ? that's a plus , and it's been good to have you here more often .... lol ... take care of it bro..... hope you recover quickly!
-
1 pointyou can not go wrong with a warn !. just make sure you get the KFI mounting plate, and KFI roller fairlead !. DO NOT USE A HAWSE FAIRLEAD ON ROPE LINES !!. you should get the pro vantage 3500-s warn winch though.

1 pointThat's correct, free handle bars! I have a set of Pro Taper S E/seven eighths bars for free. I wanted an upgrade for my 2014 TRX 420 because the stock bars bend fairly easy. I just asked my local Honda dealer to order a set of Pro Tapers or similar high quality bar for my specific wheeler. This is what I got. They are not even close to stock bars. They were acceptable( barely) for me but my wife didn't like them, she said they were too low and had a further reach than the originals. She is correct, they are an inch or two lower and about the same distance further reach than stock. They are 32.5 wide so they are probably a little wider than stock too. Anyhow, if anyone wants them they are yours.........just pay for shipping and $5 for my time. That sounds fair don't cha think? The do have two eighth inch holes drilled in the left side for the locator dowel in the plastic control for the original wheeler.

1 pointThey didn't appear to be moving too fast. It was like "Huh, would you look at that" as it rolled on top of him.

1 pointI'll see your corn silage, and raise you cleaning out Milo tanks. That crap used to make me want to tear my skin off. Back in those days I was younger, leaner, and had cold beer on the brain at the end of the day. Now I'm old, fat, and just want to lay on the couch. LOL

1 pointI got baked on the beach for a week. A/C is struggling to keep up at the house. I gotta get back to my early morning work routine (before I go to my real job). Had my alarm set for 5:30 this morning. Turned it off and went back to sleep though. LOL
-
1 pointWe had a frog floater on the 4th. Probably got a couple of inches of rain in a half hour. We were headed to my buddy's who just put in a pool, and the bottom dropped out right as we pulled up to his house. Almost overflowed his new pool! LOL. Skeeters were horrible while we tried to watch fireworks, and the kid was tired from the long day so we headed home about 9:30. You could hardly see driving through town from the smoke from all the fireworks.

1 pointi was always told one Mississippi till a thunder clap = a strike one mile away 2 Mississippi = 2 miles and so on ... light travils at 186,000 miles a sec, and lightening around 3,700 miles a sec .... sound at around 700 - / + feet a sec i know one thing ..... after being struck a couple times..... i don't chance being hit again, so at 5 Mississippi ... you probably won't see me outside ... j/k .... I'm always out in bad weather ... i figure after over 3 hits why not! after all. i know what it feels like ... just not a fan. lol!

She said I really damaged it good. So when I landed, captain obvious would say it was in my shoulder. From shoulder to elbow is black now... so ya good times... I'm on Short Term Disability right now.. which is an awesome benefit to have..
