That is a nice one. Nice price too! LOL Nice wood will make any gun look pretty. A few years ago I picked up a Marlin 39A. At the time Numrich (Gun Parts Corp) still had some "Century Limited" wood in stock, and I ordered new wood for it. Was under $100 shipped for the set. Ended up being really nicely figured wood. I posted about it on a shooting board, and another guy got some REALLY nice wood for his. I saved pics. First pic is the wood I got. Other pics are what he got. Someone on that board offered him $500 (iifc) for his, and he declined.

If I remember right Pivotworks were bought out by the company that sells All Balls bearings and are junk bearings now. I think @Fishfiles knows the story...

Quick update, I have some more miles on the tires and I am really liking the way they have performed so far. Got in some deeper mud and they pull great. They throw some mud especially with the wider wheels and tire combo I have. I don't have much time with work to get out on the trails, especially now the only access I have to the trails is now posted. Pictures for whoring purposes haha.

Made a little progress last night. Got the top end together along with the bottom end. Waiting for caber rings to complete the marriage. i froze the crank shaft in the deep freeze and heated the bearings. Those suckers slide right on. Then I froze the crank again with the bearings installed then heated the one case half. Slid right in. Then heated the other case and tried to slide that in. It didn’t go as smooth. Ended up having to freeze the half case with the crank in it again for about an hour then reheated the other empty case. Then it slid right together. had to pry the crank a little to center it in the case too. when I pried I dinged the case a little so I had to smooth that out in the case. Then got paranoid I got metal in the bottom end so it got a bath. Which then resulted in chipped paint so I’ve had to repaint some of the case as well. It was one of those two steps forward one step back kind of nights. but case is together and back to waiting for parts.

Sent Ron my 450ES screen and he's got it looking like new! The neutral light was dead (replaced) and the screen showed nothing other than backlight. The after pics speak for themselves. Awesom work Ron! And, as others have stated, the guy really keeps you updated on everything and knows his stuff!

I generally shop for major brand high quality replacements on the Internet. None of the good bearing companies sell cheap, but most sizes can be found a bit cheaper than OEM prices by shopping around. Edit: Pack new bearings with grease before installing them, even sealed bearings, cause they are generally shipped empty nowadays.

If it all comes up, it should be. About an acre. Not sure if there will be beans or corn planed this year where I hunt. I love our mountains in NC. Plan on going next month to my inlaws place for about a week. My first experience with snow up there was back in 09 or 10. Rode 5 hours to get there to be greeted my generators buzzing and very little lights on. Got to the top where the house was and saw the doorbell light on!! SHEEEEW. I did have to shovel snow for 2 hours just to get in the driveway since they had plowed the road a few times that week. The locals could tell I was new... asking where the snow shovels were at Walmart lol. It was ice under the snow which made the driveway terrible.

Tackled the front racks. Anyone comment on whether pivotworks bearings worth the money and labour? Looks like one of my front wheel has some play. Hopefully it’s not a worn knuckle.

Alright, assembly of the printer is now complete. While mounting the heatbed on the Y-axis frame I added the Nylok Bed Leveling Mod. Chris Riley will demonstrate to y'all what that is all about here: The Delta 240 watts SMPS power supply is mounted and I intend to use that stock power supply while performing the initial calibration steps, finely adjusting the Nylok Bed Leveling Mod and printing the 1st test print. Once I am satisfied with optimization & calibration I intend to remove the SMPS power supply from the printer frame and wire up my new 480 watt, 24 volts DC/DC converter, so that the printer will be solar-powered by my battery bank/controller/panels. The DC/DC converter will be mounted outside (on the side) of the network enclosure so that the solar-powered power supply will not be exposed to the warm interior of the enclosure. Next up, gotta assemble the enclosure box, mount the two ventilation fans, mount a fan speed controller, mount the DC/DC converter, hang the LED lighting strips inside the top of the box and wire them all up for power. Here are pics of the completed Prusa i3 MK3S+ kit ($796.68 shipped) with the smooth PEI coated magnetic spring steel print sheet that comes with the kit. Not pictured are the other two magnetic spring steel print sheets sold by Prusa that I bought separately from the kit; the powder coated Satin sheet, and the powder coated Textured sheet:

Arkansas leg passed a similar bill. Our statist POS (R) governor vetoed it. My guess is the leg will override his veto (hopefully). He's term limited so he'll be gone before long, but I'd love to see him recalled now. He's awful, and always has been. Just remember, they're all terrible. Regardless of your political leanings, an (R) or (D) next to their name doesn't mean they're on your side.
