  1. Yeah I would swap an OEM pump on there. I don't use any china parts on these newer machines. They're finicky about parts. I buy used OEM before I buy new aftermarket.
  2. Sounds like a fuel problem for sure then. How long has it been since you changed the fuel filter?
  3. If it fired with ether you're not getting fuel, or rather not getting ENOUGH fuel. Run a jumper wire from battery + to the red coil wire. See if it starts. That bypasses a lot of the sensors in crap on the 420's
  4. Yep. Paint seems to stick better, dirt doesn't imbed itself into paint, and touch ups are quicker and easier. I've used bedliner on Jeep bumpers etc. That implement paint is some tough paint. Held up just as well for me. Cheaper too.
  5. Location would help. Saw an 87ish 125 for sale on FB a few minutes ago on Facebook. Don't remember where it was though.
  6. Tractor Supply gloss black implement paint > bedliner
  7. Yeah yeah. I was referring to the seals. Thus the seal puller. But you are correct, he's gonna need to remove the circlip and press the bearing out after he pries the seals out.
  8. How will you mount that to the wheeler?
  9. Clamp them in a vice, pry harder. They just press into place. Or you can get a seal puller. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Professional-Seal-Puller-Oil-Grease-Seals-2-Size-Tips-Tool-Extractor-Mechanics/401163750911?epid=1879952500&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item5d67390dff:g:PMMAAOSwbVdbn~O9&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAACYBaobrjLl8XobRIiIML1V4Imu%2Fn%2BzU5L90Z278x5ickkTboA95HSvGa1O5UmCCGJLuFV5JeG20sBXNgC241YKEbz2GzkYKlyNF6zVR0iRXj7ccLU%2BxQsWYWoArTLSXG6gLZ4qw4MUSC0Gi4GuRp2rK%2BCB4OU3KXYcvZK%2BFeTVoQVDexXuX8AnvTbEFTnFx2TGreD44XhDkQwNhZT72UkApWXlPi6IVpDq3ufikxptPaqsubMc6dQmQyhQOjATaTrCQnkM%2Fwx8qTC1MNS9EOT76VAsv5WaLCqr4NHrTXMaPmNYJtNWUzS8C7iYLNy8Y5hygokU9ZW23ac4USn4AgExvzLEui2Cfw%2BfRusLOu4uo7mCsqBPIZx5dpCEdC0xcvBpEoF2fpD089gKnTyE6Haw1NBtF24246IUPwKyqRkedjgl4O85avxd1oUncSa557BXOWm97REVxSdbRE8UONijWi%2BFkwP6byyJP4joNMG7dt9FNfNnqvvQdteobWTlcqJQRI0NXtLdlOLeH9NFB6hQDBMKyge5GQ5xL4fbozAR13aAX9sFk4uxbOhcyy7hfl7I20A1MWzL%2B5lOC33W%2Fj%2BK3dIRVcpzcx3NVo0a70yi%2BGX10bc8vR4gkCcbPFUrf%2B0%2BBMpCD2P%2B%2F%2BBXNna7RbELHf1HSDBn3tKr0PqxUhXRcivCdXZeZzAZxubd2mUILtSbmFgrypBgr%2B5KLAHeXCSPqHgrhEjZQPDqZYFmpu%2FTNJ7oMfQRA%2FfWXlt1Q%2BEr%2FxewgYRnN9tcChBYNrGveM4ahypsrN2mcjnDuXVadMPuOIN|cksum%3A401163750911b4b0c0c47cba46d6bd2d83de561fd99b|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2334524
  10. Yeah if I cut the cage off I'll just leave the two sheared bolts in place and replace the bolts that hold the hub and pulley together.
  11. Well the big cage that goes over the belt and pulley's won't come off without removing the pulley. That cage isn't going to work with this new tank anyway, so I've thought about just cutting the cage off with my grinder LOL. But yeah, I'll be reusing the pulley. I already have the unloader valve and regulator plumbed into the tank. Have to get the cage off the motor so I can bolt the motor to the plate (cage interferes with the motor and tank fit), and then I'm going to have to set the pump in place and drill new holes to mount the pump to the plate. Major PITA, but hopefully won't end up costing my anything except for a few brass fittings I had to buy to account for different sized holes in the different tanks.
  12. Welcome aboard. If you bought the bike Shadetree just rebuilt you shouldn't need any "how do I fix this" anytime soon. Now if you wanted to ask about putting a snorkel, gear reduction, and huge tires on it, you're in the right place, right @shadetree?🤣
  13. I actually have one. Cheap pos from Amazon, but might be worth a try! I’m liberally soaking in Pb Blaster now. Think I might try Melatv’s idea with some grade 8 bolts first.
  14. Honestly PSN has gone up quite a bit on their stuff over the last few months. Not much in the way of bargains anymore, but at least you know they'll stand behind what they sell.
  15. Got a couple more pics of the pulley this morning. Does appear to be the taper lock style. You can see where I bottomed out those pusher bolts right before they sheared off....
  16. If you have a 3rd gen, couldn't you just use a 350 Rancher CDI with the fan plugs on it?
  17. https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/91051-HA7-651?ref=98bd5723f95d222aa7bf96cb91be48bae7e4e84c Looks like 30x54x24
  18. Check out powersportsnation.com. Their prices have gone up a bit recently, but OEM prices have jumped through the roof lately. PSN sells used parts, and they stand behind what they sell. They have an 02 450 on the list of bikes they bought recently, so might be able to get a good used oil pump at a decent price from them.
  19. You can remove the fan, stand the wheeler up on the rear rack, and get the front cover off with it standing up. Don't even have to drain the oil that way.
  20. I’ll try to check in the morning. Been working on the Foreman meter this afternoon
  21. Yeah I ran a tap up into those holes, and then the bolts sheared off when I tried to push the pulley off
  22. Yeah I removed the two bolts and tried to use them as push bolts and both of them sheared off. It’s on there good. Guess I can drill those out and try some grade 8 pushers
  23. I’ll check tomorrow and report back
