Walmart is closing out Remington 700 ADL's in 223, Remington 770's and Savage Axis rifles. Right now I think they're only 35% off, but they'll drop again in a couple of weeks to 50% off and then to 75% off. The trick is figuring out when to jump. If you wait for another price drop, someone else might get it. If you jump too soon, you might pay more than you need to. All of those are kinda cheap guns, but they'll go bang, and should be serviceable. This belonged to my great grandfather. He passed it down to my great uncle (my grandmother's brother). My great uncle recently passed it to me. .32 rimfire Remington Elliot We haven't exactly gotten along over the years, but he knows I appreciate and value family stuff, so he knows that by passing it to me it will stay in the family.
  3. It's for that little 125 pictured. The headlight was busted on it when I got it, but it had the guard on it. I have another 125 I picked up for $50 a while back (see attachment). I split it with @basfnb a couple of years ago. He paid $50, got the front bumper and rear rack for his kid's 125, and I got the rest for my $50. Engine top end was disassembled and missing parts, but looked good otherwise. I plan on putting one good one together out of the two. The one @basfnb and I split already had a light grill on the headlight so I sold the extra one.
  4. There's one 3rd gen (same as a 350 Rancher). No idea if it's good or not, but if it is I'll keep it for a spare for the middle daughter's 05 350. On the flares, there was only one good one of the lot (rear newer style). The flat ones were mostly trashed. One left front flare could be used, but even it had a tear in it that I'm sure would split wide open the first time you hit a bush with it. Dang things get so brittle over time. Wish someone would make a cheap aftermarket flare.
  5. I picked up this 125 parts bike back a few months ago (wanted the engine and tires). Cost me $100. I traded the front fender and gas tank (tank was rough, had peeling Red Kote on the inside) for a 05-11 Foreman rear diff, and sold the Hondaline headlight grill for $75 yesterday. It's funny what will bring $$$ and what you about have to give away.

I used to hear this a lot. People have money for a new SUV and truck every other year. They have money to take 4 vacations a year. They have money to throw around on this and that, but they keep one box of ammo at the house. THEN, when there's fear, be it social unrest, a pandemic, or a bad election, they start asking to buy ammo from me, or even more often from a buddy of mine that is a BIG TIME shooter. They want to buy ammo and pre-panic prices, because all of the sudden it's either unavailable or really expensive. So do you, the ant, sell your supplies to the grasshoppers at your cost, because they didn't prepare? Do you sell your stuff cheap knowing you can't replace it without paying twice as much? After the 2008 elections I got a lot of those calls. Some of my close friends I helped out...a little bit, and as soon as prices dropped back down (albeit years later) I said "Now look, the stuff is cheap now, you better buy your own because I'm not giving you squat in the future!". They heeded my advice. Every one of them. The guys that I haven't spoken to in 5 years, who only call me when they need something? They can pound sand. Kind of a pet peeve of mine, because it's happened to me several times over the years. Aside from Jeeps, ATV's and shooting, I don't spend much money (and those are PLENTY to keep my wallet empty). I drive old beater vehicles. I take ONE vacation a year, which is for my family, not me. I'm also fairly well prepared. When someone else fails to "adult" and then wants me to bail them out, and especially when it's repetitive, and the people have been warned......that is consequences for their inaction. The guy who has a lake house but doesn't want to pay current market price for ammo right now, I have ZERO sympathy for him. It's not taking advantage. It's not allowing someone else to take advantage of you.

I sure am glad I loaded up on Suprema 00 buck when walmart marked it down to $2.50/box.....that would be 25 round boxes too. Can't find buckshot now around here.
  8. Yep. Couple of junked exhausts on there. Might be able to weld one good one together out of a couple of them.
  9. Yep. Got a seat, gas tank, tank side covers and muffler from an 00-03 350 Rancher he had lying around too.
  10. Be careful with that rear diff. They’ve gotten pricey. You can’t get either side out?
  11. The flares weren’t in great shape. I’ll get some better pics when I get a chance. Had to run to Memphis today to pick up a load of cylinders from the machine shop, so haven’t even unloaded the trailer yet
  12. Got a set of floorboards too. For the sum of the parts I thought I did well
  13. Got this yesterday. $200. 3 frames, 3 engines, front diffs, CV’s, a arms, plastics and racks, one carb, a Warn winch, and some other odds and ends. Wife was not impressed.
  14. Well, you weren't wrong. I told him it sounded like the wrong oil or low oil. He apparently was checking it with the dipstick screwed in. He changed the oil, putting in fresh T6, and filled it to where it read full with the dipstick sitting in the hole (not screwed in) and it did fine after that.

If I can make a suggestion, buy SEVERAL high capacity factory Beretta magazines. When slezebag bill clinton passed his ban in 1994, magazine prices shot through the roof. With an election coming up in November, who knows what will happen, so get them now while they're fairly cheap and available.

Glad you found those! Looks like you did a pretty good cleanup on them.
  17. @bcsman what say ye? It's not expensive to keep going, and if we let it go and want to get it back later we'd have to pay the upfront fee again.
  18. Thanks for coming back and posting the resolution. Might help someone out in the future
  19. The chat feature on the forum is up for renewal. Are yall using this enough for us to renew it, or can we let it expire? It's not terribly expensive, but if no one is using it there's not any point in paying for it. Chime in please!
  20. I like it. Great idea!
  21. They're after grubs. They dig them up and eat them.
  22. Yeah, the MAW would get me there for sure (Might As Well). I'd be replacing ball joints and bearing while I had all that apart too.
  23. Wow. I think that just moved to the top of the "worst I've seen" list. My FIL has two of the late 90's AC300's. Basically a rebadged Suzuki King Quad. They're a PITA to work on, but for the time, they had some really nice features. Disc Brakes all around, IRS, and Hi, Low, and Super Low range, along with selectable 4wd and even a front diff lock. You should buy it cheap and fix it. They're neat little bikes. The parts are $$$ though!
  24. This Delo is marked down to $11/ gal at my local wallyworld. https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=20896087 According to guys on the BITOG forums, it's wet clutch safe too. https://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4102512/Delo_400_Test
