  1. like farmers don't have enough troubles......
  2. i take it you just purchased this bike ? perhaps sunk by the previous owner ? yep, sounds to me like it's been sunk,
  3. thanks jeep, i wasn't exactly sure on that, had read they were discontinued, and then again they weren't. i might know where ones coming soon ?? although it might be a while....
  4. i think he's talking about a hydraulic clutch lever, and slave type deal ? it's sure not oem honda. some bigger equiptment and pickups have the same setup my jeep has one it's not a hydraulic clutch ... but rather a hydraulic peddle, and outside slave , some ford rangers had a slave inside the bell housing, but IMO mechanical is the way to go.
  5. well, thankfully you have plenty of place you, and your family own to go riding, and camping. i just pic a spot on my place, and go, never have worry about people stealing anything, or it getting too crowded, then fishing is pretty good as well.
  6. nope not giving up the keg of beer in the back seat....
  7. thats the rule when i let people go camping on my place, never alone. dont trash the land, no cutting of standing trees, no camp fires left un attended ,and no atv riding in the creeks, or in edge of fishing ponds. just glad i don't have to go to a public area to go camping... been there.
  8. abit more history of the machine is needed ^^^^ why was the engine rebuilt, etc.
  9. j&m atv might have them in stock, but as far as i know, no longer in production.... http://www.jmatv.com/wideopen.html
  10. li must have missed that post, or it was never posted here ?? kind of drawing a blank.
  11. even if you could, they don't carry the 424, as there not in production any longer, your best bet is crags list ebay, or happen up a used one, like jeep did...... and the link fish posted ships to Canada .. i would try that 1st
  12. Ted sent you a couple PM's not sure if you got them, but you mentioned a timing issue, i would need to see the distributer, and if thr electrical system was was converted from 6v to 12v.
  13. well this is what you asked, ^^^^ if your not sure, then talk to him, i don't deal with es machines any longer...... especially ranchers... but I'd say his post covers them all, if you asking if the quality of the machine is is better with newer models, I'd say no.
  14. check out the 1st page, that's all the detail he posted, and he has limited forums access due to useing a cell phone, last he told me when i posted those pics for him.
  15. is he stupid ? I'd say not,(certainty not road legal) just headed to the shop for repairs.
