so some part updates. Couldn't find the reverse cable new anywhere but partzilla. was used ones on ebay for 17$. figured id pay the 20 + shipping to partszilla for a new one. Weelll the next day i get an email update saying the cables is backordered till who knows when. so back to eBay i went and ordered the used cable. Ive decided im gonna go straight to a disc conversion on the front because i HATE these honda drum breaks. Orignal display/dash was trashed. And this being an ES ive found you can't find a new one. OR any used really. but i found one for 40$ on ebay listed as non-working. So i rolled the dice and lucked up. other than some UV damage to the screen it actually functions perfect. You can see the difference. The Original is trashed from weather and sun damage. The board is damaged and badly water damaged. I removed the sun cooked film on the lcd to see it display and it would sometimes display and other times not at all. The New-used one is in way better condition and works fine, just the UV damage. plan on sending it to get fixed. Picked up a tune up for it. filters and spark plug. Still gotta find a rear rack and taillights.

yep, that is the fuel pump i hear, its not suppose to '' tick '' like that unless its not picking up fuel from the tank, in other words, no fuel is reaching the pump.

My wood pile is a mix of red oak black walnut and white ash. Ash is easy to get now with the EAB. All the HAND split wood in the field is ash. It was a glorious day of cutting and splitting. 36 logs cut and split. Burned 7 tanks of fuel through my stihl 044, 462 and Jonny 2171. Seriously taking offers for a massage haha. photo of inside stack partially through the trailer full.

welcome to the forums, is it getting spark to spark plug ?, if its not ?, then it wont fire and run. if it is getting spark at plug ?, then this is a compression issue ?, or timing issue ?.

again, my money say's fuel is not reaching the carb. you can spray some starting fluid into back of carb, turn it over, if it fires up a sec or two ?, then no fuel is reaching carb, i know these models inside out.

Thanks. The seller had a red one with similar miles just like it. It's still listed even though he told me 5-6 days ago when I picked mine up that he had it sold to a family friend. I like the white too. I already have a red Honda.

I finished cleaning and greasing the rest of harness connections on cousins 08 foreman 500. Installed rear plastics and seat and took it for a good rip, about four miles and it shifts better than ever with no fault codes. Time consuming process to prep ES system correctly but worth it in the end!! I will finish putting front plastics on it tomorrow. It needs a new seat cover and I have sent a message to the guy @jeepwm69 recommends to get them from to see if he can get me one.

I have my cousins 08 Foreman 500 ES on the lift, ES system is giving him trouble. While removing all the plastics I noticed the clutch adjustment bolt was broken and seized in the case so I put a parts list together and ordered from RM ATV. Parts were delivered yesterday and I removed the front crankcase cover today and replaced clutch adjust bolt and got the ES shift motor all cleaned and prepped with new grease. Crankcase gasket was a real joy to get cleaned off!! I got the crankcase cover back on, shift motor back in place. new oil and filter and adjusted the clutch. Started on cleaning and dielectric greasing the harness connections. About half of the connections are cleaned and greased and I hope to finish up the rest in the morning.
