Good day to be on the lake here breezy 74° lol. I bet that won't last too long. I scalped the front yard a couple days back. Lots of green grass sprouting up.

Bite Me!!!!😁 Not here man, 2° 30mph winds supposed be -19° tonight with same winds. Blowing and drifting snow, will probably have to call the home owner of the project we're working on and have him come with the tractor and plow the road so we can get out of here tonight. 😵‍💫 we'll see at the end of the day.

Had to sort out a few things, but here's the pic..... This was the first oil change i used the plug, n you an Clearly see .... They work, every time after that oil change not a single particle.... This engine has only had honda oil... Never abused never operated over heated.. And NEVER SANK NOR RODE in deep water... It's just the nature of the engine.... And no i wasn't pleased with what it collected ...but now that its done the initial job..... No more particles! But proofs in the image....and I'll add.... I did alot of research (defrent brands) the guys at dimple were extremely helpful....you can purchase these direct from dimple, fleabay, and amazon... More then likely even more places online... I will not put a price on engine pertection ...... And these aren't cheep, but also are not priced completely out of site. Dimple

several years ago...had a great garden..then back injury/surgery...wow the recovery time on that. plus work...just took the wind out of my sails. So the garden became neglected for several years... working to reclaim it from all the overgrowth now. will strip the entire area (about 1/5th acre in the fenced in section to protect from deer/rabbits). but not likely going to plant it all this year. We focus on squash, tomatoes, green beans on the 2 arbors in there really do well. some water melons for treat, and some okra that's likely about it this year.

Just signed up, have a 1988 foreman trx350d.. I'm lost no spark. New coil, pick up coil, stator, new oem honda cdi box, new fuel pump, new fuel pump relay, new spark plug. Had spark when I bought it. Had 2 bent exhaust valves, fixed those new valve seals new rings, now no spark, any help would be appreciated! Ray

For 86-89 TRX350. Did you know there’s an accessory lighting connection on the rear of the quad? You can find it on the main harness near the right rear taillight—wrapped in blue tape. it will energize with the lighting circuit switch.

We came home Monday from fishing in Canada and ran into 8" of snow. After that it's been really nice here. Around 0 degrees, little to no wind and mostly sunny. Pretty good snowstorm and wind south of us but we are supposed to escape it this time. I keep the riding mower at the ready but don't really think I'll need it for at least another 2 1/2 months. 😁

Well two things I know of. The fuel cut relay could be malfunctioning or the ground is bad (circuit not complete). Keep reading. if you already changed the fuel cut relay (oem). Then inspect the green wires for damage and try wiggling them while you have the jumper wires on. test fuel pump circuit grounds for continuity : red lead of meter to green wire connection leading to fuel pump (not pump wire). Same on cut relay connector terminal (not relay). Black meter lead to a bolt on the frame. Should get continuity.

Us too here in SE Texas. Going to be a record hot month if true.

You said you got a new fuel relay already? the resistance is a leetle high on the pulse generator. Did you check it at the leads under the right side cover or CDI? for the RRL Y wire you’re only checking for continuity from the Y wire thru the 3 other yellow wires at the stator 3-p connector (3P). You can measure resistance but it will vary with temperature. then test for continuity from the Y wire to body ground—you should get zero continuity. OL on your meter. edit i put a confused emoji on your comment i didn’t know what you meant by engine side.

There is no gauge of shotgun considered too large when it comes to blasting spiders. I've gradually becone used to some species and know they are good to have but they still make me want to scream like a little school girl when I am surprised by them.

Very well could be...... I'd have to chalk it up to my own immune system.... As part of the reason it was no worse then an aggravating paper cut ......but.... I'd rather NOT play it again sam..... I see them very often in my shop... Dark corners.. Ect ect, but the defence is.... Wolf spiders will kill recluses.... those i don't mess with.... N spiders don't bother me...at all... Well....i bet you recall when this sucker caught me off guard.... Lol! That's a day i know I'll never forget....

Now that is protection for sure! Most positive that would ruin a good cam.

It also said to text fuel pump wires for voltage.. I have none!! Tested the fuel pump straight 12 volts it works . What will kill the voltage ?
  17. 1 point
I have battery voltage at green and black wire at fuel pump relay.. it's said to run jumper wire from that terminal to blue and black wire and should have 12 volts there. DONT .. do you know what would cause this?

I was just thinking ...... Being that engine only has a oil strainer / screen, n no filter.... (Just an idea) have you thought about a magnetic oil plug ? I have a dimple in mine .... If i can find the pic ? ... They do work, n work good!

Well every time I get to work, the wife runs out with the threenager and says "Come get yo kid before I toss her out the window!" Apparently what I consider normal 3 year old behavior is viewed as "She's a freakin heathen!" by the wife.

Thanks for the help! I was told it was a 90 trx350d. On the frame up front it says 88 trx350d it's blue from the factory. I bought a repair manual for it. I've went over everything. You're correct mine is a foreman and doesn't have the exciter. What I was referring to was the pick up coil next to the stator. I bought a new oem cdi box. Still no spark. Could it have gone bad sitting over 30 years? I read where a guy named retro gave a list of what and how to check the wires at the cdi box. I tested those last night and all was just as he said it should be. All the lights work, high low beam etc. Have battery voltage at bw wire at cdi . Fuel pump doesn't turn on when switch is turned on and no spark. Switch is good, spins over with it. No power on black yellow wire going to coil or cdi or going to Fuel pump. What powers this wire? Thanks in advance!

I'm down to bolting the brake lines to the upper a-arms, the bolts on the front fender to rack, skid plates, new grips, and bolting down the seat plate. I might beat you yet!

Got a little bit done over the weekend. Got my "bead buster" in, and was finally able to knock the beads loose on some ancient cracked tires so that I could grease the leaky beads. They still have some minor leaking going on, so I'm going to slime the crap out of them, and if that doesn't work, they're going in the trash. They have pretty good tread on them, just cracked from age.

If you can find them big enough.... Well check this out... Talk about a beautiful grain.... I don't how many people would think about the looks, i like them myself, but then again.... Strange as it is.... That species is my fave... And doesn't even produce an eatable fruit.... But FAR the best firewood I've ever burned... But for firewood.... That tree makes you work for it ... Very very hard wood, thorny pertection, n if you cut one the stump produces oh! I'd say about 100 mourners ...... Lol! Edit: i think @Turbo Twister made a very nice table.. Prolly posted in the hobbies thread..... I don't recall much about species of wood..... I wouldn't have any idea what som of these pieces would go for, I'd say a good bit.... Mostly money people I'd imagine...... It's hard on saws...i would think it's just as hard on wood working tools/ machines, i know this! You can easily burn up a chain..lol!... You recall when i talked to my fire chief... About going with a carbide tip chain ? If i new i could be positive not to hit metal soil, or rocks.. I'd have a carbide tipped chain just for that species... Talk about high $$$ for those type chains, but we could cut through just anything on a burning structure..... Mostly used for sawing vent openings (shingles, tin, nails, hidden wire etc etc) after that abuse scrap city.....

I know I've said this before... But those match colored wheels pop! Really makes that nice looking 300 stand out... I might just have to try plasti-dipping one of mine red on the project bike...

On the cdi side the yellow wire has 15.40 omhs 2 ohms oh the engine side No voltage on either side.
