  1. I'm not into the middle of that one, lol, but might i point out, most of your builds are reduction (low gear) so there's not going to be too much ram air to help cooling. i believe that's why the oil coolers, and fan relocates ?? i like the look of the checker plate just as is.
  2. thats was suppose to be @Fishfiles
  3. @retro did a post on how to get those off, sure he will chime in soon, but yes that hole under the switch, and your right they just snap into place, and very aggravating to get off, might i ask where you lucked up a new to you button ? I've been looking for a new one for a while, and had no luck.
  4. glad to, wheeler, I'm still wanting a rear bumper , but that's on hold for now..... any ideas on a quick hitch type deal for the front ? i figured you might have forgotten, you forgot about the 383 stroker badge too, I'm just messing with you.... lol, anyways I'm sure intrested to see what you come up with for a front bumper, I'll add that tan .... with the blade was on ebay a while back, and i contacted the owner, he told me they used have a few of those in a shop in Florida he took his bike to, he checked, they had run out .... with no more orders coming in (no longer made) my bad on the typo, fish.
  5. that's okay, you'd know if it was chewed up, I've seen a bunch of issues due to mice / rodent damage, i was just curious. keep up the work, and let us know what if any wiring issues that look strange. the light staying on all the time got me to thinking, did you ask the previous owner if he, or someone else had messed with the wiring ?
  6. yeah, i would have been gone to, lol
  7. uh huh, everyone is gone except for the camra man.....who just had to get that photo...
  8. can you post us sime pics, (many from all angles) and ill go ahead and ask, no rodent damage (wires chewed up) ?
  9. that's slick with all the chrome! sun glasses / tinted visor a must have!
  10. @Wheeler i figured I'd bump your thread up for the newer members, a couple bumpers are posted on the 1st page, but here's most all i have, @firsttimer built a homemade deal, i really like, but i can't locate the pic, but you also mentioned, your rear window could get busted out, so some of these might not work on those long camping trips y'all take ?? anyways here are deferent types some homemade, some not. credit goes to @Mac102004 @toodeep and downunder << (who's not in the forums yet) , Mac told me about the brute tube which is the last pic, toodeep posted is the 1st pic, and downunder is 3rd to that last pic. my favorite is the 4th pic, no idea who makes it, and I've never been able to locate ... that one or the brute bumper. (which i also like)
  11. it made all the defrence on mine when i installed it! less ware on the front end, just out right more fun to ride, fish has to be the king at mods, lol.
  12. welcome to ATVH, Jeremy.
  13. good thread! 424 kickout on a 2000 300, I've got a lift kit install planned when warmer weather gets here plasti-dip (bright aluminum) wheels, ram mount steering stem headlight /spotlight which is removable, magnetic dimple crankcase plug, i added a hondaline cooling (not standard on 300's made in the states) , cmp front bumper, brake light install, honda 300 bark busters (hand gaurds) speedo kit, and other mods.... I'm sure i over looked. and the project keeps going!
  14. it mounts like this, (3rd, and last pic) the one posted in your pic is for some sport modes, (1st pic) those brackets welded on, are for reflectors, should be four of the rear rack, (on each corner) and two on each side of the front rack. (2nd pic)
  15. nice job, sled, thanks for the video.
  16. you sure have some skilled / knowledgeable people at that shop, they've been about over every inch of that truck so far, when y'all get done, it will sure be a hotrod! she's just about there now! and, i sure have enjoyed your build.
  17. I'd have to do away with that magnetic plug, and change the foot guard, i think the magnetic plug is worth keeping, never had an issue with oil drain plugs on any machine, but sure make an oil change simple, and quick.
  18. 04 450, es, and I'm not seeing a micro switch on the hand brake, or the foot brake.
  19. thats a great score for $70 bucks!
  20. you sure cant go wrong with sweet baby rays! that's sounds really good fish!
  21. oh, a mile! i wouldn't change a thing! that's further then some frs/gmrs radios will reach.
  22. the 900 mhz range .... is too high, that's why the signal breaks up, when other riders get further away, but with the handy talkies, yall have it covered ether way, i kind of figured the frequecy was up there, but again all in all I'm very impressed with the setup. a better antenna would help if they offer such an option, but it would need to to be a transceiver , not just a receiver antenna, i keep my handy talkies with me as well,
