I worked on this truck today , the windshield wipers , belongs to the owner of a company I work on their heavy equipment , don't usually like to venture off working on heavy equipment and stay away from trucks and such , but this one is cool , 1966 Chevy PU , with a 2016 LSA Supercharged engine and drive train , it is for sale , I still didn't ask how much ---- Inthink it would be nicer with some paint

i got Lubuntu 18.04 LTS; i was going to reinstall lubuntu. instead of letting the install do it, i erased the partition it was on, formatted it ext4. that deleted the grub and the mbr.. then the coin battery went bad on the motherboard, and the adapter on the sata DVD ROM quit too. when it rains, it pours... i got a battery off another board for now, replaced the sata DVD, with one that uses the ribbon. im ready to make a partition bootable, setup the MBR & GRUB. im gonna download system-rescue, first, just in case the command line dont work. thanks fellas..

I cant remember the last place I posted about the planks of timber I said I would post photos of so here they are! This one is a spalted beech table top I made recently for a friend, with an ash frame, coloured epoxy with a clean coat epoxy resin finish. The below planks are spalted ash, I will probably make live edge tables with them when they dry out in a year or two.. Happy New Year everyone!

Its only just begun to blow here.... the Fgen band set up east of here last night so that limited our snowfall to only about 4 inches today. The forecast is for 5-10 more inches of lake-effect snow overnight through Tuesday, with moderate drifting. January 1st will be a dry and sunny day tho. Then we brace for the next round of troughing (with some arctic air blasts following clippers) that is forecast to amplify through the middle of January. Pretty routine stuff...

Didn't get any snow in the SE part of the state just 1-1/2" of rain. unusual for Dec. Today overcast and 31 with winds in excess of 30 MPH with gust as high as 55 MPH. A bit raw. I 80 is still closed in the center part of the state.

I found some pics online, and it looks like the front bumper was a Hondaline bumper. Still not sure about the rear rack. Also had a headlight lens guard on it which appears to be Hondaline, and one of the guys on the Hoarder page asked what I wanted for it when I asked if anyone could tell what year 125 I had. Anyone have a Hondaline catalog from 85ish? I think I've found a parts bike for $100. Thing is rough, but appears to be all there, and has a headlight grill which appear to bring pretty good money on ebay. Hoping I can pick it up, get what I want off of it, and get my money back selling a couple of things off of it.

Well..... Again .... We had major flooding I'd say around five + inches ......With temps around 60 o F felt like a summer thunderstorm.....the radio traffic was horrible .....Numerous water rescues, one house fire caused by flooding 3 vehicles swept off the road way, thankfully no fatalities , two pics.... 1st off, water NEVER stands here, UNLESS there's extreme flooding, the first pic is just after the first line moved though, and the second pic ...... About an 2 hours ?? later.....mas of this morning at 4 AM 45 o F and dropping.... Has old man winter finally settled in the south ?? Maybe so....i sure do feel for those up north,,I'd say this winter flooding could be one for the books.....it's sure to be and interesting New Years

Haven't made stuffed bell poppers in a while...... So with all the Eminence flooding , there wasn't much to get into yesterday except cook something i don't often cook.... So. Between doing a furness repiar , and pumping flood waters ..... I fixed rice beef stuffed pepper , i did a twist on these, what i cleaned out, i tossed in a blender, and then mixed in with the stuffing.... And topped 2 of them with cheese, to my surprise .... They (the cheese topped) turned out mouth watering!

I can't tell what happened either. But if you can see the drives then you probably know what you need to do to fix it. This small distro has every tool ya need to move/make a partition bootable and set up the MBR & GRUB: http://www.system-rescue-cd.org/

That's a good deal you came up with SR, good for those in need and good for your daughter to understand that others need help amd/or assistance. You did well coming up with that deal. So catching the ball with instant control. Advancing the ball and making 3 full steps doesnt count as a completed catch? I mean in any other game ive ever watched it sure has. He did just short of 5 yards with secured possession? Ball never moved once. Never slipped. He locked it in instantly with his hands. What i noticed the most is how well the refs were at taking any sort of momentum osu could claw for and removing it with a bad call. I personally hope LSU makes clemson look silly. That will just confirm LSU vs OSU would have been a better game. But with the refs on your side its hard to lose a game. Not sure who the refs will be for the championship but if they are the same LSU better be prepared to play not only a team. But the refs aswell. Sad.

Clemson completed a pass and fumbled it , OSU ran it in for a touchdown , the receiver took 4 steps with the ball secured , it was no doubt a catch and a fumble for touchdown , just that play alone was the different in the win or lost ---- numerous pass interferences calls against OSU that were not much , and blatant interference by Clemson that wasn't called ----- many holding calls and blocks in the back that were not accessed against Clemson , and just the opposite with OSU ----the commentators on every sports show I watched and listened to said the same thing ----- there were so many bad calls , even OSU's coach made reference to it without actually calling out the refs , cause he is not suppose to do ----- I seen the entire game twice and it was a recorded version ----- no doubt their was favoritism by the refs in that game for Clemson , maybe they bet on it

You should be able to use a decent USB thumb drive distro to manually fix the issues with drives. It’s been a long time since I’ve played with Linux much so I don’t recall the exact procedures or tools you’d need. I always liked the distro Slax for stuff like this because it’s module based and you can add whatever tools/programs you need to complete the task. I’m sure you already know this, but you may have to manually mount the various drives to actually read the data on them. Some distros do it automatically while others don’t. At least that use to be the case.

Gotta ask again, you say your 2 sata hard drives are recognized, that's good. Are your DVD drives also sata or IDE makes a big difference. If sata are there enough connectors on your MB to hook them up? If IDE is your ribbon cable good or hooked to a good IDE connector on the MB? Hard to imagine all your DVD drives are bad so to me they aren't hooked up correctly if not being recognized. After that I am totally confused.....
