Well boyz... I think that they may have done the trick... I've raised the clip to the top.. I live in the burbs... & took chance with cops & anyone calling them... Just went for rip around the block all over... Pulls harder thats for sure!! & throttle response seemed oh how would I say it... crisper/more responsive...RPM pulled faster too! I definitely didn't make it worse thats for sure!!! I'll run it that way for a while, then pull the plug. I didn't install new one... kept the carboned up one..

Got lucky guys. They had 1 in the box. HC4 off a 93. Wow is mine ever stretched from the 300ex carb. I have to definitely find out if a 300ex boot will bolt on. Cost me $26.

Hi: You can get Winter Green in drug store ask for it at the Pharmacy
  5. 3 points
Do exactly as you were thinking. Lean the needle out one clip and see how it runs after. If its better leave it. Worse go back. You most likely wont have to adjust your main as the needle change is going to make some of that adjustment for you. Since you dont drag race and run wide open throttle real long your main isnt even showing on that plug. And you dont hold it there long enough to come entirely off the needle metering. My .02

I noticed my 300ex carb wasn’t sitting correct in the 300fwd intake boot. I left it alone last week end. Went to adjust/straighten it up & tighten the clamp back down. Boot broke in half. I am going to try a local used part dealer to see if they have one, but if not can anyone help me out? I’ll pay for expedited shipping too. I “assume” a 300ex boot will bolt up the the head, but have never tried. Thanks in advance!

Hi: Use rubbing alcohol & winter green to soften rubber -- machinist at the Pulp Mill told me about it -- cover it if alcohol & winter green for about 5 days -- had the ratio mix but can't find it. Here is a picture of the bottle I got at the Pharmacy The Machinist even use to free up rusted bolts

shipping out of the states is not hard ?, just a ton of paper work !. i sent a clutch bearing to trxpip over across the pond, by reg snail mail, and he got it pretty quick !. canada might be different ?, i know they have import duties and all that. its best to ship a package right next to the border in the states to a close friend, let them toss it '' over ''..lol to them, yes..i know..its sneaky..rofl.

I had a friend in Quebec this summer need a part for his auto and the only place he could find it was a US web site, but they wouldn't ship to Canada. We arranged to ship to me, then I shipped to him from my house. Heck of a round a bout way to get it but it did work. I will say it almost took 2 weeks to get from me to him....

Methyl Salicylate outside of chemical supply is called oil of wintergreen. It is in all kinds of products and is the active ingredient in most rubber restoration products. Just boil and treat with the silicone really well you should be fine. The other one is coming and you can treat it right later lol

oh400ex... if you only knew me a bit better... !.. I can't have this.. black plugs or slightly carboned plugs are UNACCEPTABLE in my books.. I must make some tweaks & adjustments.. but this time well thought out ones....

Thx guys. I’m on my way to local place now. U have to bring ur part, & they see if they ya e one in box that matches.. talk about unorganized & frustrating. If they don’t have one, I talked to a local guy from FB 300 & he has one I can use until I get one. So not stuck for the week end anyway which is nice of him. I’ll google to see if a 300ex fits mine.

I'm would to suggest you pick up some Methyl Salicylate (Wintergreen Oil) for the part prior to putting it in and you got a brand new one! Edit: You can get something like this if you can't find the pure product somewhere else. https://www.amazon.com/MG-Chemicals-408A-125ML-Rubber-Liquid/dp/B008O9X3KS

I hear you loud and clear on the thrill of getting a deal , I got it bad ----- learned that from my Mom , she use to drag me along shopping all the time , if it was on sale she would buy it I got a Barnett Crossbow bartering for a brake job on a friends pick up , I only shot it about 3 times , lost all three arrows , out of ammo , the guy I got it from said he had the trigger assembly replaced as there was a problem with that model , it is a hair trigger for sure ---- was talking with the guy I was working for yesterday , he is getting ready for Oct 1 for archery , crossbows are legal here , he is shooting a $2,000 crossbow with the scope , forgot the name of it , says he can hit the bullseye at 100 yards every time with it , I can't even hit a 3x3 ft arrow back stop at 30 yards , but I only shot it 3 times , must have been bent " bolts " ( isn't that the proper name for a crossbow arrow ? )

Last week end I used the lead sled to try out various hand loads I had made for my new to me Rem 700 with Timney Trigger & Magpul Hunter stock with box mag. Burris Veracity 5x25x50 front focal plane scope. Managed some good results. So today I made a few more reloads to try. I have seated them a little deeper, added a tenth of a grain more powder & I’ll see how I do this week end. I use a chronograph as well to keep eye on things. Hornady 162 ELD-X bullets.

the Sabrent Q NVMe M.2, doesnt have any support for XFS, but, i got the fastest email response when i asked about this. 1 day. they said, as long as linux has the program, it should work. they do have support for ext4., and of course windows 10, maybe a touch more, else wise. so i'm a go. i got two more memory cards, while i was at it. it only make sense, linux runs in memory, the more ya got, the faster it works.

https://atvhonda.com/forum/20-for-sale-trade-wanted/ We have this area. Since you're a parter-outer I would suggest linking to your ebay store and maybe listing new bikes you aquire as you start to tear them down.

I always say I'm going to flip things, and I do every once and awhile, but mostly it's Christmas stuff for the in-laws, or I sell the stuff to friends for what I paid for it. I just like the thrill of getting a deal! Picked up a Barnett Crossbow last week for $99, @basfnb got that one from me for his kid (when he's a little older)

i don't think that will work in this situation .... lol!

just to get this one on, I ran under hot water, then used a heat gun "gently" to make it flexible enough to get carb into it..

32ACP and 25 ACP were a Walmart closeout about 15 years ago. Winchester white box, $5 a box. I have a Colt 1903 in 32. Really neat little guns. Used to be cheap too. The one I have was reblued so no collector value, but still a really elegantly designed little pistol, like most of JMB’s designs.

I think the cost of shipping things here, and dutys make stuff here more expensive, plus we don't have the population to order in bulk....

They don't make it easy to ship out of the states, Thank you for your business!

Haha I get the mentality but in practice you are likely just shortening the life of the bike. I don't put on performance parts for the same reason. If you want to wrench so bad you could have just got the Robin Blue... 🤣

The one I bought is harder then I dunno what.. I'm going to boil it to soften it up.. It's gonna hate it's new life all stretched out! lol

Welcome aboard Michael. Guys, Michael sells parts on ebay. I've bought quite a bit of Foreman stuff from him for the 08 I'm building now, and the 07 I have on deck. Good guy to deal with. Parts are accurately described, and priced right.
