And then later in the week I shot 3rd and 4th deer of the year, with rifle and from my adapted ladder stand though. Doe was much closer to the camera in the picture, she actually was only about 110 pounds. Buck weighed 192 dressed though.

Shot a doe using shotgun right off the RancherAT. Used a box blind window Caldwell shooting bag over the handlebar mounted light bar to rest the gun.

2006 Honda Foreman 4x4 ES I rescued this from a one sided hay barn of one of my friend's back in the spring/early summer. It was pink with dry rotted tires and had been sitting there for many years. But it only had 500 miles and I was with my friend when he was shopping for it new. It is now pushing 800 miles. Anyone ever hear of the Hunt Group Arms MH-12? I just picked one up. It’s in the mail. Looking forward to this lil beast! Ordered a Fab Defence PTK Foregrip as well. Have one on my UTS-15 & love it. 14” double barrel pump .12 gauge. Similar to the DP-12

Apolgies for the late reply.. So, in my opinion forget all modern Hondas.. My father had a 2012 foreman and i had a 450 foreman, the 450 hands down was more versatile, practical and user friendly. Modern ATVs in the UK cost a small fortune to maintain properly. Pre 2000 is the better option, in my opinion of course. As for the road legalality side... If its road registered and has a logbook (V5) you have no issue whatsoever. Odds on youll buy an 'agricultural' registered atv. Theres loads fpr sale! All you need to do is change the taxation class on the logbook and add lights, indicators etc.. basically it has to pass an MOT. Agricultural taxation class covers you up to a 10 mile radius of your address, maybe you could swing it somehow?! Hope this helps buddy.

Hi David, welcome to ATVHonda! There should be battery voltage across the Black/Red stripe wire and the Green/Yellow stripe wire that connect to the ignition coil while the key is turned on (not cranking the motor over). You can check the primary voltage using a multimeter. Turn the key off, unplug the Bl/R wire and the G/Y wire from the Ign coil. Set your multimeter to DC volts and with the red lead from your meter probe the coil connector on the end of that Bl/R wire while you probe the G/Y wire connector with your black meter lead. Turn the key on... you should measure battery voltage (12.6 volts DC or higher) across those two ignition coil wires. Then press the starter button and make note of the voltage drop while cranking... let us know what you measure in both tests.

Yeah he's the heaviest buck I've ever killed. 192 lbs after guts out. Rack not that impressive compared to a lot of the other bucks people in my family shoot, but we had this guy on camera and knew he was going to weigh a lot, and when he came out to the picked corn field he was way bigger than any of the other deer I had seen that week. So I put a 150gr 30 cal bullet right in his gearbox.

Well..........since you asked......... in April it sunk in a pond. Upside down tires above the water, floating. Absolutely no water got in the engine. I was shocked. However it is snorkeled. Not even a shot glass of water in air filter box. I was prepared for this cause I knew it was gonna be a battle with some electrical stuff for a little while. I did remove all connectors and electrical components right away and dry everything out as best I could. It’s been small things here and there last few months but nothing real major till last month when I had to replace everything from final drive, rear diff, every single little bearing and seal along the way. I mean I replaced everything. Only thing I didn’t replace was stator and CKP sensor while I had rear cover off. I kinda almost regret doing so. I’m wondering if CKP sensor maybe an issue to being spark is just hit/miss and not consistent. FYI...... to my knowledge he hasn’t been in any water since then due to it scared him so bad.

Ooh that would amazing to even just enter into that! Just waiting on some gauges so I can set the valve clearances, then I'll be able to fire her up. After that I've got a little cosmetic work to do to the plastics and such. Not sure if I'll have it ready before the deadline for the contest in 2 weeks 😬 Fingers crossed I get the time 🙂

Hi, I was looking for a recommendation for a new Honda ATV that is good at towing? I'm in the UK. Looking at the spec the Foreman 520 IRS PS (TRX520FM6) looks a good candidate, it has a towing capacity of 599kg. I need an ATV I can take from my home along a single track road to another area of land 11 miles away, so it would have to be one I could drive on the road legally. p.s. I posted this exact same topic over on the hondaatvforums.net forum, someone recommended I post it here and get in touch with SamUK as they have a road legal honda quad and might be able to help me. Anyone know how to get in touch with SamUK? This is my thread from the other forum: https://www.hondaatvforums.net/threads/recommendations-for-a-honda-atv-great-at-towing-preferably-road-legal-in-the-uk.133796

Hey everyone, new member from GA. Picked up an 04 Rubicon recently from a fella...it was in good shape and only had 767 mi/135 hrs. Drove it around before buying it, ran good, all transmission modes worked good. Shortly after being home it had starting issues, wouldn't idle without dying. Battery was weak, so replaced that. Changed the oil (T6 15w-40). Changed the spark plug (NGK 7901). Ran a fresh tank of gas with a good dose of seafoam, which helped smooth out the idle tremendously. Now it starts great and idles smooth for the most part, but you can hear the idle skip at random times and sometimes it just cuts off while idling. One other thing I've noticed, at night with the lights on at idle, they will almost dim for a split second at random times...no change in how the idle sounds when this happens. Aside from the idle issues, it drives perfect. Kinda has me stumped if its carb related or electrical, or both. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

haha! i like the way you think! good old southern guy. why is it guys that have the word fish in there handle think way outside the lines, ? lol.

To save time also measure the primary voltage while the Ign coil is plugged in.... since that was gonna be my next question. You do have a new NGK spark plug right? Inspect the spark plug cable for rub-throughs and push & twist the plug boot into the cable 1/4 turn to make sure the boot has not pulled off of the cable.

Your best bet is to build your own, the link you posted for your last one with the 4 tyres looked decent. We are mostly NA here so shipping would be a killer... @TrxPipUK might be able to help....

I don't like the look of the product you linked. Looks like it would be inferior to a potentially cheaper option. The IRS and SRA are not different enough to make it fit or not fit on a trailer. Edit: The product you linked is meant to be towed by an ATV and would not be road legal. I thought you were linking that as your haul trailer... 😅 Perfectly said! I agree All I could add is that with a bike like this if you could only have one... go IRS because it is good enough for work anyway and does everything else better. Side note... IRS has the ability to "squat" and "stand" as the suspension travels. This will change the width a tiny bit depending on how much weight is applied to the bike. The difference is so little you don't notice but that may account for specs. This is the trailer type I would recommend. Ramp is included as part of the design and very low cost.
