So I've read through your post two times from last year, and eyed the pictures a bunch. Did you reuse the camshaft and tensioner on that machine? Also, did you find that the timing was off when the oil pump chain jumped off?
Another issue with these automatic Honda 400's is the centrifugal clutch which controls engagement. When they are worn out and slipping they affect shifting since the computer senses a problem.

Do you still have the old speedometer?
If you do, then, the data should still be present on the chip unless it’s corrupted and I can swap things over for you to put original mileage back on the wheeler

@rich250rracer, my laptop went down and I am now limping along on my backup/spare laptop. So until I get a new laptop up and running and get my data copied over I'll be out.... hopefully someone can help ya in the meantime.
